Backblaze
Backblaze does one thing and does one thing well: backup. If you recognize it for what it is, you will be very happy with it as an unobtrusive off-site backup solution. If, however, you want full-featured endpoint protection, you'll want to look elsewhere. For me and my needs, Backblaze provides the right amount of protection at a cheap price. You can't beat it.

A huge number of businesses and organizations use Microsoft 365 as their main platform for email, calendar, productivity tools - it makes sense to at least be familiar with it even if it's not used in your own organization. But I will say I'm happy with Office email and calendar functionality, which is what I use the most within the Microsoft 365 tools. They are pretty user friendly and our whole organization uses them, which makes it easy to communicate and schedule time together for meetings/projects.

Backblaze
- Backblaze utilizes a native app across platforms vs. a javascript app you find with other backup services (CrashPlan being one of them). Native apps function better and have a better user interface than comparable javascript apps.
- Backblaze has an intuitive interface that automatically backs everything up from your computer but allows you to easily exclude items you don't want or need to backup (applications, system files, etc.).
- Backblaze has a built-in bandwidth cap and monitor allowing you to limit how much data is backed up on a daily basis to prevent going over ISP data caps or utilizing all of your upload bandwidth.

- Easy to link Excel information into Word.
- In Excel, linking of cells makes it easy to do analysis that when changed, updates everything.
- Excel is very powerful. You can use it to sort data and create really professional-looking schedules for reports and presentations.
- Excel makes creating graphs really easy. Great for explaining financial concepts to individuals with limited financial backgrounds.
- Excel has some really powerful tools, such as rounding of results of computations, using at if formulas to analyze certain data and the grouping function which can help make a really complex schedule simpler by hiding certain rows and or columns.
- Many programs that contain databases of information can export reports directly into Excel eliminating the need for data entry.
- I like the editor function in Word, which helps one create better reports. It picks up errors such as punctuation and makes suggestions for better use of words.

Cons
Backblaze
- User management isn't the greatest. We had the choice of either a site license under one email address, or a domain license, allowing users to log in with their own email address, however there's no management for this option. I can see metrics of the users' backup, but I can't manage the accounts in any way.

- There are some functions in Excel that I have seen are available in other versions that are not available in the 365 version.
- The default format in Word is spaced oddly. In my opinion, the default should be single spaced between each row, you should have to select that.
- Teams should be able to be used in a smaller window, similar to how AOL Instant Messanger used to be.

There are many features of Office that we cannot replicate in any other tool. Plus people know it already. It's not going away anytime soon.

As stated in my review, Backblaze simply works and works simply. You install it. It runs silently in the background storing and safeguarding all your computer data remotely. You seldom notice it until you've lost something you need - then you can quickly find it online using their interface and restore it - which is what's really important.

Microsoft Office 365 has great usability. No need for high expertise to start using its tools. If you want to develop something more complex then I advice previous study, like VBA coding.

They answered any questions I had accurately and politely. I prefer to call a phone number and get a human on the phone, but they prefer email and chat. I understand they have business profits to consider, so it makes sense.

We get most of our support through the web as it isn't based on administration or the web site used to manage Office 365. I've had to reach out for a few issues with the management site and their team was prompt and helpful to resolve our issues. Overall, though, we don't use Microsoft much for the support.

Backblaze
Backblaze is definitely the cheapest and most cost effective out of the 6 other services I've used in the past. For personal use, they are by and away the best service available. For business use, I believe they are a very strong contender to be the #3 guys behind AWS and Linode.

Simply put, Microsoft 365 has been much easier to use at a comparable cost to other products. Cost and management requirements are much lower than Microsoft Exchange. The ability to integrate so easily with Windows and Microsoft Office apps as well as easily selectively syncing files has made the product much better than Axcient x360Sync. Easier integration with Microsoft Office apps and easy collaboration has made the product better for us than Dropbox.

- The saving of data is almost immeasurable - Backblaze is the best backup company I've ever used.
- Getting started is quick and easy - and you get a 14-day trial.
- The price is cheaper than every other service - but don't tell them!

- One huge positive impact is that Office 365 allows you to work from anywhere and remain with a decent security standard.
- The subscription based plan can allow to set monthly budgets or aim for annual projections to lower the expenses and optimize the cash flow during the initial payment.
- For those companies that has a large process to make payment or address automatic payment methods can be really stressful leading into unwanted work loads so be aware to set the right procedures to set the payments.
