Likelihood to Recommend For any company that needs an immediate tool to address Abandonment email campaign needs that are not addressed in their current ESP, Barilliance is the tool for them. Any company seeking a robust, fully data-driven solution that provides personalization or dynamic experiences should look elsewhere. Many ESP's provide their own solutions, but if yours does not, Barilliance is a perfect fit.
Read full review If you're not on a platform that has a branded post-purchase landing page or in-email estimated delivery date script, Narvar provides this experience. It's a nice-to-have for any brand that wants to provide a seamless, branded shopping experience for their customers. Narvar's grown rapidly and it seems they are increasing costs, which may be prohibitive and hard to justify for smaller companies.
Read full review Pros Barilliance displayed some of the best customer support I've had the pleasure of receiving. Their responses were timely and informative. Barilliance provided us with a month to month contract which allowed us to make the right business decisions at the right time. Their price point was also extremely competitive. While not the most robust solution, Barilliance hit all of the necessary functionality and activity to help us address our need for abandonment campaigns. Read full review Narvar offered us a turn-key solution that we had up and running in less than a month. Narvar offered several out of the box widgets (solutions) to help build/customize content (calendar view, milestone icons, SMS messaging and personalize content based on items purchased). Narvar's solution is scalable/expandable to include returns (once we are ready). Read full review Cons Barilliance has limited optimization potential. They do the basics of abandonment very well but do not have program growth tools in place. Barilliance has a limited amount of data integrations available. For data-driven companies, some in-house solutions may need to be developed for full customer behavioral data. The Barilliance Portal, while not being poorly designed, takes some getting used to, in addition to providing very little static support. This is addressed by their excellent customer service but can slow the self-help opportunities. Read full review Pricing is much more expensive than competitors. UI Design is often lacking. Read full review Support Rating Once it's set up, it doesn't require much support. We used to have quarterly or bi-annual touch bases with an account person to review our rating and customer usage but haven't heard from them in a while - either because we're too small or they got rid of this interaction. Can't say we miss it though because we can see our rating and feedback, and there is only so much you can do within the confines of the platform without adding on new functionality.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Barilliance filled a campaign gap that IBM Watson could not deliver effectively or cost-effectively. We recently moved ESP's and are now provided with a holistic email solution through
Bronto . We are ecstatic to be working with
Bronto , but I have very few negative things to say about our time with Barilliance.
Read full review At the time, Narvar had no other competitors to my knowledge. We looked at building this functionality in house which had a 3 month estimate. Everyone involved happily welcomed the tool.
