It’s way easier than other HR tools. It’s perfect for middle size company [with] 100-500 employees. It requires very [little] effort to perform all tasks. For salary calculation, it sometimes got stuck in the monthly calculation. Other than that it’s all perfect. It decreases a lot of time and allows us to manage other operations. So I would always recommend it over any other software.

As a part-time employee, it would be better if I was able to book leave on an hourly basis. Also, to be able to set up two leave types, paid and unpaid, and accrue lieu time.

  • It needs little improvement in the leave management system. Employees need to add manually in order to request a leave.
  • It’s interface is bit tricky.
  • Attendance system is perfect but need some changes in its interface.

I would always prefer it over BambooHR because of its versatility. It has a lot more features than BambooHR. For example, for salary calculation, [we] have used another tool for salary along with BambooHR. But now with BerniePortal, you can [do] all the process in it. So it means you can add 2 functions [at] the price of one and a lot cheaper.
