I think MERGADO is ideal for e-shop owners. It can communicate in multiple languages, making it useful for international teams as well. I can imagine its applicability even when working concurrently with web programmers. In my experience, working in MERGADO requires at least some level of technical thinking and imagination. It won't tell you what to do; you need to have a goal, and MERGADO is simply a tool to help you achieve it.

• It's very easy to use and does not require a lot of configuration or setup.
• It has been extremely reliable. Clients never have issues with purchasing from it and it has always has been up for us.
• It's very fast. It loads quick both on the consumer/front end and also admin/backend.
• Pricing model is flat, not percentage of transactions.

• For certain modifications, you need to take more steps
• MERGADO includes additional applications that you activate separately, although it would be great if I could enable their functions directly while editing the XML feed

For me, MERGADO is a winner due to its comprehensive services and user-friendly price.

• The basic plan at $10/month easily saves us that in time from having to manage our own e-commerce system on our own site.
