It was selected many years ago and there are better products in the 3 spaces we use BBNC for... but will miss having one product for all and the ease of integration with other Blackbaud products.
To be honest, I have not had to research any other products, because we were already using NetComunity and did not feel it necessary to seek out alternatives.
