BlueJeans stacks up comparably to other services. It does lack in some areas compared to others, particularly Zoom, which is more widely used, but BlueJeans had been used for quite some time by the University and offered the feature set and accessibility that we were looking …

Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
BlueJeans has better troubleshooting of attendees over Zoom. BlueJeans scheduling interface is more intuitive than Zoom. Quality and call handling has seem a little better in the competitor products over BlueJeans especially when it comes to IP/H323 dialing and bridging.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
[BlueJeans Meetings] stacks up well. The audio is excellent. My customers have never heard of it and they complain about getting accustomed to another UI. That is why I use Zoom for customer calls. Everyone now knows Zoom.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
I like BlueJeans' user interface and low latency during video calls. I also like that I can choose certain windows to share instead of displaying everything I have open. One thing that I don't like about BlueJeans though, since the merger, is that I have tons of issues with …
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
I began really investigating the various platforms for video conferencing early in 2020 and found many had similar features. But, BlueJeans seemed to have some of the more specific features that we were looking for. Again, to my business, the ability to collaborate via a …
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
BlueJeans offers more security for sure! Also, it just looks better. I would even say BlueJeans is more user-friendly and has common-sense placement.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
I find BlueJeans easy to use. Any single user finds it easy to configure and as a multiplatform solution, they are able to connect to any meeting using their resources available at any time. An admin can help his users to connect and monitor their meetings with no effort. And …

PROS:
  1. Has the best layout controls amongst all competing platforms
  2. All options to connect are easy
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
Where BlueJeans scores over others:
  • Layout controls. The moderator can define the layout for all participants.
  • Scheduling. This could be a personal opinion, but scheduling on BlueJeans just works and FEELS better than most other platforms, though all other platforms can do the …
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
BlueJeans had the option to view many speakers at the same time earlier than others, e.g. Microsoft Teams.
BlueJeans is very easy to use for external users /newbies.
BlueJeans does support integration of our existing Lifesize systems.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
BlueJeans came out on top as the best working solution and at an affordable price. We only lack one feature which is recording sharing with password.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
I know BlueJeans through a customer (Inchcape) and I prefer the design, stability and security.
For events I use WebinarJam, I've never used BlueJeans Events in order to compare.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)

BlueJeans offers better pricing than GoTo and Cisco, and better privacy than Zoom.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
I chose BlueJeans for the integration with Polycom and Cisco Room systems. The audio quality and Dolby rooms have kept us with the service.
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
Zoom and Webex work pretty well, and I would say those are my top three choices. BlueJeans seemed to be the best fit for us with the price point package they offered. The only downside is that I feel like the other two are more widely used at this time and therefore easier to …
Chose BlueJeans Meetings (discontinued)
BlueJeans was friendlier to use vs. Webex, but falls short in comparison to Zoom and Hangouts. Zoom has a much lower barrier to entry to use with non-tech saavy people. Hangouts Meet had a better and more seamless integration with the G suite apps egosystem (obviously).

Webex is much easier to use though our company is migrating to Teams
Chose Webex Meetings
Of the 4 video conferencing platforms I've utilized - Webex would be tied for 3rd on my list. I've come to find that both Zoom and Teams are more widely used in the B2B space, thus making it easier to connect seamlessly with clients. It's always a pain when a user needs to …
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex meetings work best and it's nowhere to be compared with other software such as Skype for businesses for its marvelous performance in easy integration and giving the best of the best video qualities.
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex Meeting integrates seamlessly with multiple third-party applications compared to its alternatives. Webex Meetings is simple to implement and set up, unlike its alternatives.
Chose Webex Meetings

Chose Webex Meetings
Webex has a great functional scope; albeit, some are difficult to use. Webex seems to work more reliably especially for international attendees to meetings and local access numbers are readily available. Seeing a person's body language can be helpful in many situations.
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex is my preferred choice.
Chose Webex Meetings
Group messaging, audio and video conferencing, and simple online meetings into one single platform. Most suitable for on-the-go collaboration and conducting professional online meetings.
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings by far has the best security and a name that has been synonymous with networking and security.

Chose Webex Meetings
We have a heavy investment in Cisco voice and were looking for an easy user experience. It made sense to integrate our existing Cisco investments to create a more unified user experience, specifically in the video conference rooms.
Chose Webex Meetings
Cisco Webex Meetings blows Zoom and BlueJeans out of the water for quality and security. Zoom does have the upper edge on releasing new features that are shiny to the user base, but I would rather have the more tested product like Cisco Webex Meetings rather than the shiniest, …

Chose Webex Meetings
Usually I would rank it below Zoom and BlueJeans in terms of quality and features.

Chose Webex Meetings
I think Webex is about the same in terms of functions, compared to the others listed at the top of this. If you think about it there are only so many things that a screen share meeting platform can do. That being said Webex is heavier and slower to load than some the web …

Skype for Business is used much more widely in the organization now because it is a lot cheaper for internal-only meetings. However, Skype does seem to have even more audio connection issues than WebEx. Our C-Suite also uses BlueJeans for their quarterly review webinars, and it …
Chose Webex Meetings
As previously mentioned, Webex had no unique offering amongst its peers. Because there are options for licensing that don't involve VOIP, it was always limping along for us because of the time-waste looking for dial in information. There is no condition where VOIP should ever …

In my experience WebEx is the most mature, fully featured and reliable solution of it's type i have used. We chose WebEx years ago when this space had far fewer competitors. But WebEx continues to innovate and add more capabilities to keep it at the front of this market segment.
Chose Webex Meetings

Research Team Insight
Published

BlueJeans, from Verizon, and Cisco Webex Meetings are web and video conferencing solutions that offer boardroom and huddle capabilities. As a full video conferencing solution, BlueJeans recommends customers use Logitech devices, though it supports additional Poly devices as well. Cisco Webex provides its own series of huddle room devices, with some third-party support.

Both solutions are used at companies of all sizes but tend to be deployed at large enterprises. Cisco’s diverse product suite caters to the needs of enterprises so this is not surprising, and both vendors provide advanced security features.

Features

There are several similar features BlueJeans and Cisco Webex Meetings offer users. However, each product has a few standout benefits.

Cisco Webex Meetings is easy for meeting participants to use with good collaboration features such as screen sharing, whiteboarding, hand-raising, and private and group messaging, etc. On TrustRadius, enterprise Webex Meetings reviewers find sessions easy to join and engage with. Reviewers note the collaboration features make Webex Meetings a viable solution for groups with multiple active participants.

BlueJeans’ users tout its security features (encryption, meeting code, etc.) and its strong boardroom/ large conference room experience. BlueJeans can be easily deployed using any AV setup. Reviewers on TrustRadius highlight reliably high-quality video and audio, as well as a stable connection. Users also enjoy generous and accessible recording space, and the ability to generate shareable meeting highlights.

Limitations

While Webex Teams and BlueJeans are robust enterprise conferencing solutions, current customers point out some limits to consider.

While Webex Meetings has a great user interface and experience, it can be more difficult for administrators to use. For example, administrative users highlight technical glitches and poor performance related to limited bandwidth as limitations of the platform. Webex Meetings users also struggle to integrate the platform with third-party applications non-Webex video conferencing equipment.

On the other hand, BlueJeans users on TrustRadius voice issues with the platform’s collaboration feature set. For example, it can be difficult to see all participants on the screen simultaneously.

Pricing

Webex Meetings is free for a single host for up to 50 minutes, with meetings of up to 100 participants. It includes features such as screen sharing, chat, meeting notes, hand raising, interactive whiteboard, and polling. Cisco offers four other meeting plans with multiple meeting hosts, up to 24 hour-long meetings, and cloud storage space for meeting recordings. Pricing ranges from $13.50 per host/month for 9 meeting hosts to $26.95 per host/month for up to 100 meeting hosts. An Enterprise plan with custom pricing is also available.

BlueJeans does not have a free plan but offers a free 7-day trial. The BlueJeans Standard plan starts at $9.99 per month (annual billing) and supports unlimited meetings for up to 50 participants. BlueJeans Enterprise supports unlimited recording and meetings of 100 participants. BlueJeans offers separate pricing for events, starting at $499 per webinar (up to a 2-hour webinar with 500 view-only attendees), with discussible pricing for large events.

  • Bluejeans' ability to record meetings would be beneficial for future references like If I ever needed to revisit a discussion or training sessions, I could access the recorded content, eliminating the need to take extensive notes during meeting.
  • Calendar program and messaging services are just a couple of the productivity and collaboration tools that Bluejeans frequently integrates with, scheduling of meeting and team members communication would become more efficient as a result.
  • Typically, bluejeans provides mobile app, making it usable on tables and smartphone, this enables me to take part in a meeting even if I am not near a computer system.

  • We have a global and diverse team with different devices and operating systems. Webex works smoothly on all of them and everyone can collaborate in real-time saving a lot of time and effort, making meetings much more productive.
  • We can easily capture discussion points and decisions for future reference, without the need for manual note-taking. It helps us in smaller group discussions and brainstorming sessions within the main meeting itself.
  • I can even tailor the layout to suit the meeting's purpose and agenda. Webex is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for non-technical users, joining and scheduling meetings is a smooth process.

I have used many other competing platforms platforms; however, despite the fact that BlueJeans lacks certain features others offer, familiarity, ease of use, and several things BlueJeans does better than others mean that I will stick to BlueJeans. Further, whenever I have faced a problem, I have found BlueJeans support excellent overall; no lengthy wait to understand and resolve an issue. Good product, great support, BOTH TESTED OVER TIME; I do not have an incentive to move to another platform.

I don't have much experience of joining a meeting from an attendee of someone else's. As for joining a meeting I've created, it's very easy. For recurring meetings, I find the meeting in my list, and if it's near the time to start, there will be a "Join" button, and I just push that. After that, it gives me the options for joining -- video, audio, phone, screen share only. It remembers my previous choices, so mostly I just can click by that. As for attendees joining, there do seem to be connection problems from time to time and people have to log off and come back on, but we had that trouble with GoToMeeting also. Being able to mute attendees is much better in BlueJeans. When we had GoToMeeting, I constantly had problems with people joining by phone incorrectly, such that they didn't even show up in the meeting list and thus I couldn't mute them when needed.

I really don't have any specific errors which have faced I should mention over here the operation or application uses is quite smooth.

It was straight to the point and very informative. effective training often includes clear explanations, hands-on practice opportunities, time for questions and answers, real-world examples, and follow-up support. If you're trying to assess the quality of a specific training session, you might consider these factors. For organizations looking to assess the quality of their in-person training, it's best to solicit feedback directly from the participants. This can be done through anonymous surveys or feedback sessions, enabling the organization to gather firsthand information and improve future training sessions accordingly.

That we needed complex implementation that we didn't get tells me 2 things: 1) the product was not designed in a way that "just worked" like some of its peers (Zoom / BlueJeans) and 2) had our company defined actual user needs and validated / verified that they had bought something that matched those, we would have pursued features / designs more closely aligned with what the product actually does: screen share, sometimes video, definitely VOIP audio (always an option regardless of license), and easy recording and retrieval of meetings.

Scalability
Discontinued Products
I believe BlueJeans is easy to scale, but we have a different business model that requires a more central scheduling need. Most vendors operate on an enterprise wide environment with a one to one licensing. We have a centralized group of video administrators and schedulers that do the majority of the scheduling for multiple departments. Because we are a centralized scheduling group we need shared access to on schedule not multiple users delegating access to one another. I.E. if I have 5 schedulers, under the current licensing they would each have individual accounts and delegating those accounts to one another. So when receiving a support call they have to search 5 individual schedules to make changes to meetings. This I think is a valid need even for smaller businesses that just have a few schedulers for the rest of the groups. It would be easier if it scaled within the individual accounts
