SessionM is a customer engagement platform that combines customer data management, loyalty program and offer management, and cross-channel campaign management (SMS, email, push, and in-app messages).
I think Blueshift is well suited as a CRM. It does a great job handling the customer information that you need, placing it, and displaying it in one concise place. They could do better in regards to being forthcoming with information. Documentation is weak, and depending on who you speak with on the support team, they may have different answers to the problem you're having. In my experience, there are a lot of inconsistencies in how they think about reporting, that someone who's been in marketing for the past 10-years, has to relearn and rethink how we share data for KPIs.
SessionM is ideal for enterprise restaurants, brands, and organizations to build and drive loyal behaviors via technology platforms. They've built their system via robust APIs integrations, but are now diving into a white label app system that allows smaller brands (100 units+) to utilize their incredible technology in their own brand, as opposed to just bigger players. They're the best at what they do.
Customer Segments + Recommendations Tool - Blueshift and has helped with automating and personalizing our retargeting efforts. The true value of Blueshift was realized when we could launch triggered marketing campaigns targeted to specific segments based on a user's behavior onsite, and deliver relevant personalized content using the AI-based Recommendations tool.

Using data science to determine guest tendencies and actions: their system is incredibly smart and tracks historical actions to guess/estimate future actions, and creating programs to influence those actions.
Integrated communication platforms to speak to all of our guests within various tactics—email, push notifications, text messages, in-app messages, etc.
Loyalty management & CRM: creating and managing a program that runs consistently across the system.
Customer has a better UX/UI but Blueshift's capabilities are far stronger. The price is also more interesting considering what it does. Blueshift doesn't have certain integrations that are useful for startups (like Slack) but it's something that they should be having soon. Social media interconnection is also a step in the right direction that Customer hasn't moved toward
SessionM was light years ahead of Fishbowl, in the data science tendency assumptions that are built into the system, plus they don't offer an app for your brand to use. You'd have to employ a 3rd vendor to manage that. It's also important to note that SessionM sees ALL guests and POS content in the system, not just loyalty identified transactions.
Our work with SessionM has been so incredibly impactful to our brand loyal guests, and the value they bring to our brand. For example, our loyal guests are worth $100+ more than our non-loyalty guests.
