BombBomb works best (I believe) as a sales engagement tool. We use it in marketing for some of our campaigns, but I think it's probably best suited to engage prospects that have already entered the funnel.

Salesloft was great if you were sending out an email to prospects or clients that needed to go to more than 10 people. I loved using salesloft for mail merges going to over 100 people, because it helps you personalize those emails but still get them all out in a quick and organized manner

  • Upload your databases to BombBomb to send single email blasts or campaigns.
  • Upload your videos to BombBomb or use their software to record videos. Either way, the BombBomb system makes sending video emails easy!
  • The "Individual Plus" or any higher priced subscriptions to BombBomb software include forms and automation for lead generation and automation of campaigns.
  • The mobile app for iOS and Android is very useful for sending and responding to BombBomb emails!

  • Cadences: These make it super easy/efficient to organize your prospects and customers.
  • Email: The email features are great which make it easier when you can have certain templates to choose from or snippets.

  • We've found it's better with existing relationships than as an outbound campaign.
  • Deliverability - We serve markets that might be a little more strict with regards to deliverability.
  • Chrome extension - it was awful and took up so much of the inbox that we've uninstalled it completely.

  • With great tools comes great responsibility - you NEED training and enablement for this tool.
  • Being able to get a dialer phone number in a desired area is spotty, some of our major markets never have a number available in that area code.
  • It'd be great if we could change the Person layouts - there's information that we'd like to display and we're limited to just showing a few custom fields.

As said before, the usability is very straightforward and the customization options are good enough to get the job done. There is a mobile app to help with real-time engagement so that is useful too. They offer plenty of training and best practices to make sure you are getting the most out of BombBomb.

SalesLoft is a fantastic product that will be extremely helpful to any Sales Rep looking to organize their information and stay one step ahead. While it has its shares of quirks and bugs it proves to be an awesome tool for anyone that is in the sales industry.

Overall it's very easy to use and the video emails stand out. Everything loads quickly and they make it easy to set up. It features CRM-like functionality to view opens, clicks, time watched, etc., but it doesn't port that info over to your existing CRM which is where some of the friction occurs. Still, it's amazing for what it does. I recommend giving it a try for our outreach.

I primarily compared BombBomb vs these platforms. I ultimately decided to go with a very stripped down version of Yesware as it's tracking provided a few aspects BombBomb did not, but BombBomb's platform was the best versus the other main providers. I think it cost a little bit more, if memory serves, but it was the superior video platform

we used Yesware mainly to create template emails and to see the opening of our emails. SalesLoft is winning by far as the product is much more complete, allows more automation, calendar functionality and so on. Our company selected SalesLoft because it was recommended to us and it has honestly changed my daily job.

  • Improved Productivity - saving time on admin duties like booking meetings or sending emails at the "right" times each week.
  • Increased email responses - seeing when prospects open my emails and contacting them shortly after is a godsend, especially because there is a new Seismic integration that allows me to see how long they viewed supporting documents or proposals.
  • Opportunity Tracking - the stages and tags that are under each person in SalesLoft allow me to review all of the actions I've taken with a prospect without having to dig through old email chains.
