I love what Brainshark does for me and how easy it is to train someone else to use it. Most people are familiar with PowerPoint and that makes and easy start that can be enhanced with animation, voice over and background music. You can also upload videos, SCORM compliant classes and more to make an easy to use system to present training and education. I have reviewed a number of other programs, and all seem to have the same weaknesses in reporting. Brainshark does what I need without a lot of difficult training.

This is generally used where there is a large number of employees in the organisation who are doing sales as it is difficult to keep track of everyone, so it can fetch all the data in one place. This is CRM and used where all information related to sales needs to be stored like leads, pipeline, updates, closure, etc. This also does the implementation process.

  • Brainshark is a very user-friendly tool that can be learned in a very short period of time; which was extremely valuable as there was only one experienced Brainshark author in our company.
  • Brainshark is a great way to communicate to a global audience. Our company has expanded their global footprint and often the only cost effective way to communicate or train in different time zones and remote locations is using tools like Brainshark.

  • Easy to use the Company Search Module where you can easily search for companies on DataFox.

  • I would like to see more integration with other CRMs such as Salesforce.
  • We have each business unit built into Salesforce and it can track the amount of gross profit that flows through our Oracle database. It then further it trickles to each sales rep and what they've closed during their time at the company. These figures are not always accurate.
  • It be difficult navigating to accounts and drilling down into each specific customer to understand details.

For the niche it fills in the content we produce, there aren't many alternatives. We want something a non-technical, non-design user can use to quickly create content that is distributable to an external audience. I'm not aware of a tool that does that and offers the same features.

So it's a Win-Win situation. I believe there is a slight learning curve to derive [the] full value out of this but once you are there, you can delight your customers.

I have never had a problem accessing a presentation and any updates to presentations are viewable immediately.

They've even helped me (and another vendor) figure out how to have this other outside software integrate with theirs to achieve an even greater presentation. I'm super impressed with their Customer Service people.

The support the Oracle team gives is generally very good. They are patient, willing to help, and their training methods are collaborative and inclusive. They have conducted multiple support sessions and it’s always been a great user experience. There are a lot of sites that allow you to host/share content in the loud. What won for me was their tracking, analytics, and reporting. At the time there was nobody even close to Brainshark and I have not seen anything since that would make me want to switch. I look forward to many years working with them.

Oracle Sales Cloud was our preference for a CRM cloud system because it had great additional features that we also wanted to utilise in addition to the traditional CRM. We really liked the lead tracking and the incentive sales compensation feature. Several department heads debated which software to go with and in the end we all agreed on Oracle Sales Cloud because it addressed the needs of all the different departments that now utilise the software.

When we purchased this system it was one of the more expensive options in the market. However, with an adjustment in service and a relative price structure, this has become a lot more cost-effective over the past few years. It’s now more of a middle-ranking in the pricing structure and I would definitely say this is value for money.
