Having the Broadvoice B-system came thru for us when the internet went down at our location. We were able to login into the Broadvoice systems from our phones and forward all calls to our cell phones. This allowed our contact with our customers to go interrupted. This is seen as a great advantage to our company so we could continue business and keep our customers happy.

Cisco Business Edition 7000

Its well suited for small to medium scale deployments if the infra is in-house. Webex and other SaaS solutions are in demand these days and are cost-effective too, but if for some reason your deployments need a locally-managed data center, then go for the BE7K or the BE6K depending upon your requirement.

Cisco Business Edition 7000

  • One box solution for mid sized organization (Ipt, Voicemail, Jabber...).
  • Good interface for configuration and maintenance.
  • Cisco Support hierarchy is very good and have hardly seen any outages so far.
  • Comes with pre-deployed virtual machines.. Even if we prefer to deploy our own we have all iso-ovf templates easily available.

  • Improve network through the phone. Have issues when the phone has problems; the computer can't connect to the network when it's going through it.

  • More cloud based services need to be added to the default service package.
  • Companies frequently require a small contact center within the UC environment. It would be nice to see a build it contact center in the box.
  • It would be nice to see some advanced AI based services (IVR voice recognition service) in the BE7K application list.
  • Call recording should be also built in.

Renewing the Cisco software is not my decision but I am in the highly agreement of the software to renew as it has better connectivity in company network without any slowness. Integration is also one of the best feature that we can use for our other application with Cisco

At first, it seemed "daunting" to use but that is very much the same with a lot of things that are new. Broadvoice supplies great Quick Sheets to main topics, such as Feature Codes, Flow Charts, User Guides, which are easy to read and follow. Once it is used often, it is easy to understand, follow, and make changes to fit your company

Yes, When I want to connect I use Cisco and it always available to connect. Some time integration with mobile app takes little time but still happy to use it without any issues.

I would say that Cisco stands alone in the market when it comes to business connectivity and other features. Not really it doesn't tend to slow down as once it is connected I believe it will connects with the company network and then it depends on how your company networks works. I am not sure if it making sense to you.

It is easy to understand and with one time demo we can easily start using the Cisco. It was a group session for different teams and more technical for IT team. In house training scheduled for the team. Demo is very easy to connect and did not have much questions about it.

There are few steps that needs to follow and that is what in online training has been schedule for. I frankly speaking didn't get the training but I know how to use it. So It is easy to understand and connect with company network. Initial setup which includes training plays a critical role.

This has really been our first experience using an app such as b-hive organization-wide for our phone system, so I don't have much to stack up against it. I just really appreciate the ease of using our original phone system via this app without having to go to some other product/service.

We choose Cisco Business Edition 7000 over the other vendors as the relationship between us and Cisco was very good. Regarding support, in implementation and support after implementation, we faced some issues but found great support in troubleshooting and fixing all problems. Also the great performance of Cisco Business Edition 7000 over other vendors.
