    Personally, I was always very satisfied with the Budget Maestro product and platform. I used Hyperion Essbase in my prior company and felt Analytics Maestro had very similar capabilities and features which made learning the product very easy. The ongoing support has been tremendous and this is an area I find many competitors in the marketplace to have room for improvement.

    I have been using QB desktop and QB online since their beginning, and I feel it is very user-friendly. I do feel that there should be an online free tutorial for every NEW QB user. I have found that some NEW users do not fully understand the system.

    • We still depend upon third party services for uploading bank feeds.
    • Few banks do not provide bank feeds, converting PDF's to bank feeds is challenge.
    • If Quick Enterprise can build its own utility where we can convert PDFs to bank feeds. That would be great.

      We've been using QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions from when the business started, 11 years ago. I don't see us changing programs any time soon as it is working pretty well for us now. It would be extremely time consuming to start from scratch with a new accounting or inventory management program.

      I like the QuickBooks Enterprise edition so much I moved my company to it this year. I like the overall functionality of the program and I am very familiar with the user interface which makes my job easier. One of the things I dislike about the online version it is not modeled after the desktop edition and I have a hard time getting around in the program.

      Very rare do I call the Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions support staff and I get a customer service associate quickly. On average, my wait time is near an hour, and at times even longer. After spending the first three minutes discussing my problem, they then begin to poke and prod around, sometimes the questions continue. But 80% of the time, the problem is over their head and they have to escalate the issue. The only problem is this escalation arrives usually after spending forty-five minutes poking and proding around but learning nothing. In short, my experience is rarely all that well, let alone great

      If you're loading QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions onto a computer that you're going to directly log into, you should be able to do it yourself. If you are going to connect to a server through a network or remote connection, you should probably have a professional IT person set it up for you.

      Our company evaluated 6 product offerings in the market place a year ago and felt Budget Maestro and Vena offered the largest return on our investment at their price points. We have always been very satisfied with the product and its customer service. Since we have grown over 600% over 4 years, many of the new layers of management used other products in prior careers and we are currently at a point where the entire organization may be transitioning to an ERP solution to manage all finance and accounting functions. I would always recommend Budget Maestro as a great budgeting and analytical tool for FP&A teams as we were able to accomplish a high amount of monthly reports with a small team over the years.

      Sage is offline, very cumbersome to work with and does not have the type of features that quickbooks has. Sage was pretty horrible to work with. Trying to find reports was awful and running payroll was difficult. Quickbooks is far superior to Sage and would never recommend Sage to anyone.

      • We were a very small company growing by acquisition so it worked well during these phases of our company growth.
      • The return for our cost was tremendous especially in comparison to peers in the market.
      • Analytics Maestro allowed us to grow without adding headcount by building efficient reports that can easily be mass-produced for all branches within our organization.

      • Meets our needs for invoicing, saves manual process resulting in one staff position reduction
      • Onsite install saves us several thousand dollars.
      • Inventory has caused an external processing and data entry expense - this costs a couple of thousand dollars initially and now annually is a cost of $2,000 labor.
      • Statements that are not reflective of individual customer terms render some customers' statments useless.
      • Vendor payment management has eliminated late fees saving several hundred dollars per year.
      • The new licensing scheme has us looking at competitive systems and we are finding more than we expected at much less cost.
      • Customer support for assistance on older versions to recover the admin password cost us 4 months of delay and at least five thousand dollars in staff time.
