Jobscience is a good fit for medium to large organizations, especially those who have various different lines of business and need one system to be able to handle them all. It is very difficult for me to imagine another system being able to accommodate the very different ways of doing business between our departments. Only a highly flexible system could have a chance at doing that.

in my experience, Paycom has been a great program to process payroll more efficiently and timely. The thought of doing payroll the old way sounds dreadful. This change has definitely been a positive change and one that I would recommend. Paycom also makes it easier to work on payroll outside of the office using their Manager on the Go app. If employees contact me while I'm outside of the office at meetings, I can still login and help answer their question quicker than I could before. Anytime you change systems there is a lot to learn, however, with the help of my implementation team and help features within the website, I can always get a quick response

Bullhorn

  • JobScience is extremely customizable and flexible. This is a strength because you can tailor it to your workflow, rather than having to change your workflow to fit a software.
  • JobScience is the most intuitive ATS / CRM I have ever used. This is particularly important when hiring and training new employees. The faster they can come up to speed on the core software in your business, the faster they can start generating revenue.
  • JobScience has extremely powerful built in reports. I have yet to need a report that I couldn't build using the internal report wizard. It helps us understand all the numbers at the heart of our business, which is critical in decision making situations.
  • JobScience also has powerful automation components. The email alerts and automated tasks you can set up are great and boost efficiency. We use them a lot, and I suspect we may have only scratched the surface.

  • Multiple users - when multiple users edit a page, it doesn't show that there is someone else on the page and it only lets one person edit which can cause the information to be lost.
  • Action grid - it is a helpful page to use however it is extremely slow and takes a long time to load and can be a bit finicky.
  • It's simple - this is is also a positive, but I also think there could be additional resources added to it to make it more up to date and advanced.

  • Occasionally we struggle to get into contact without a dedicated specialist who would know more detail about our personal circumstances. However, Paycom seems to always have an expert standing by that can jump in when needed. Ultimately, we get great help quickly, no matter what.

    We've made the mistake of moving away from Paycom to a PEO which had made a lot of promises, that they could not keep. Less than a year after that transition, we returned to Paycom and are happier than ever.

    The system is very user friendly. Once you navigate where your information is stored under the forms you are golden. While the training amplified my capabilities and knowledge, I could have jumped into the system without and training and managed just fine. This probably one of my favorite parts about Paycom!

    Paycom is the best payroll and HR software I have utilized in my 30 plus years as a CPA working in private industry. I am always confident in the software and my support team. The software is updated on an ongoing basis automatically. Paycom relieves a lot of stress over this vital area of any business.

    All the online training modules were short and straight to the point. Every module teach you how to use the system. If there is one thing they know how to do is training. We did implementation during the pandemic so all had to be done online or via zoom meetings.

    Not at all satisfied it was a nightmare we spent over 8 months with the implementation team having issues after issues all related to the Puerto Rico regulations (half my employees are in Puerto Rico) and at the end we were moved over from the implementation team to the production team without all the issues being resolved

    We use Jobscience to add candidates, upload resumes, and have certain fields such as Name, Location, Compensation Details, Non-compete Details, Packet highlights, and of course the Resume field, all of which are required in order to create a packet to submit to our clients. These packets are created using Conga ActionGrid, so Jobscience allows us to input all the information, and it would be great if we could create a packet directly through Jobscience, but we require Conga ActionGrid, as that is then used in Adobe PDF to create the final packet.

    Paycom blows both Heartland and ADP away. No comparison. I had nothing but issues with the others and no issues to speak of with Paycom. I will recommend Paycom to anyone looking for a truly all-in-one provider.

    • It's not a negative impact, just isn't as lead-generation or easy to use for candidate pool search as I would like.

    • We no longer have a full-time HR manager. The duties are split between a Controller and another manager-reduced costs-all in an $80,000/year savings.
    • Employee self-management of benefits enrollments eliminated manager support for the process. It's completely self-administered by the employee, probably saves 80 hours of administrative work at a minimum and eliminating any chance that management makes an error on the employee's record.
