Celayix vs. stratustime

This is software that will be very useful for all companies since they will be able to control the entries and exits of their employees in their jobs, the hours worked, shift changes, and everything related to the performance of the staff. They will not have to worry about personnel planning because the software will do it.

We don't use the clock in and clock out feature so I can't speak to that. It works best for our exempt employees and is a little harder for our non-exempt employees. We allow employees to enter their start and stop times but some of our non-exempt employees have trouble logging their meals properly. If they did it incorrectly, they can't always fix it and it has to be fixed by an admin (often by deleting all the time entered for that day).

• The control of time and absences, allows us to keep all payroll, payments, and control of days worked, in order.
• Its interface is very intuitive and easy to master, we do not need technical service for installation or use.
• The activities that can be programmed automatically, such as alarms, mailings, and other activities, and facilitates daily work.

• Stratustime offers biometric clock in and clock out options.
• Employees have the ability to view and confirm their hours before payroll is completed.

• The no guarantee of temporary employees returning to work is a big concern and accountability is difficult

• While you can future date many changes in an employee profile, you can't change all of them. A big one that I wish you could future date is manager changes.
• There is not a way to have the project codes/cost centers automatically accessible for employees. New employees have to go in and activate them. It's a small thing but people just don't pay much attention.
• They could really improve their training materials. Some short videos to share with employees on entering time would be really helpful.
• They don't have a mobile app. They have a mobile website but it isn't great and our employees really want an app.

We were given a dedicated customer service rep that is there whenever we need them. Emails are answered within hours and the knowledge base they have has many of the answers including easy to follow how-to's. We haven't run into any issues that can't be solved in less than 24 hours.

Celayix is a flexible and powerful employee scheduling tool with a secure online cloud used to create and edit schedules. It is the very best automated scheduling solution that allows us to manage the workforce digitally and it is a great resource for any organization.

• The solution we picked had to have integrations such as Salesforce and Celayix has that.

• Overall, it has really helped us streamline our timekeeping process by allowing managers and employees to approve their time electronically from anywhere with an internet connection.
• The ability to reconcile time sheets in a timely manner as also allowed us to process payroll a few days earlier than we were able to with our previous system.
