Cisco Business Edition 6000 (BE6000) is well suited for midrange environments. If you want to silo your communication and collaboration environment is easy to implement without effecting your datacenter environment (Storage,vCPU,vRAM). You have your own little island with the BE6000. And with a second pair, you could easily cluster your environment and have a redundant solution.

Twilio

With Twilio, you can start from scratch to build your own contact center in the cloud. I did know a lot about VOIP before, but still needed to learn a few things for this solution. When I need to travel or my agents need to travel for work, they can with all mobile services you can expect (voice, SMS, MMS). The pricing is very good for this and the global user interface makes the whole system pretty easy to manage and use. I only use a few features from the platform, but the possibilities are huge being in the cloud! What is great is they are always working on new services. And Twilio is now really recognized as a leader in the communication space.

  • Setting up response sequences should be more intuitive like an email sequence software or a chatbot service where you can send users through flows based on actions.
  • Less code setup or having a graphical user interface to set it up would be nice then to be able to just export the code of what we need and send it over to developers.
  • Easier multi-media sending for images, videos, or files needed.

Overall the product API is extremely well documented so it is very easy to build a product with their technology. The website is a little bit cumbersome to use as they have greatly expanded the number of products that they have over the years, but the dashboard UI has not been improved much since.

We couldn't get the MiCollab to work properly. It always crashed. With Mitel, we couldn't change our provider to someone else that had more capability and less cost.

Amazon Connect, Plivo, and Tokbox are other services that offer WebRTC solutions. Amazon connect, while a good solution if you're already using AWS for your website, is quite expensive compared to the other two options here. Comparatively, Plivo is slightly cheaper than Twilio WebRTC. It can be a good avenue to pursue assuming their support team is as responsive as Twilio's. Finally, Tokbox is quite a popular WebRTC solution. Their prices are comparable to Twilio's, however, their solutions can get expensive when you look to archive communications.
