Its well suited for small to medium scale deployments if the infra is in-house. Webex and other SaaS solutions are in demand these days and are cost-effective too, but if for some reason your deployments need a locally-managed data center, then go for the BE7K or the BE6K depending upon your requirement.

  • Licensing should be easy and collaborative.
  • Management interface should be provided with redundancy.
  • I've came across difficulties while I installed Windows server on BE6K. It's hard to gather Windows server keys.

Cisco Business Edition 7000

I’m a user of both systems and it’s difficult to say whether one is better than the other for features. Cisco is much more user friendly and has a better interface. I think both are suitable for large businesses, but it’s more about preference of the front end. Security features may be lagging with Skype.
