Cisco Spaces is well suited from Small businesses to large businesses. The ability for Cisco Spaces to scale as your business scale is an important feature to leverage, especially for small businesses. The insights for the Cisco Spaces are helpful to the organization with utilizing what access points we have where and what load the access points are taking on. Our business also likes the fact that the switches, access points, and other Cisco equipment can be seen all in one, anywhere anytime. This makes it easier to manage our equipment.

Most of the time, server utilization is reliable and stable during peak times. Truly amazing, this product offers a lot and gets it done in no time without any confusion. It is reliable, too accurate and the performance is top-notch. It seems to be competitive in all virtual energy systems and its connectivity is also good. It's available at a low cost, but it's enough to have as many low-cost, more efficient systems as possible. It's a minor thing, but very rarely, it can cause work interruptions while it can get stuck due to more frequent use such as restless work. These power servers are very efficient and really help when things go wrong. I am using this product to retrieve data much faster.

Pros
Cisco
  • So the first thing it does really well is a lot of our sites are rural, so we don't have very good cellular connectivity. So we invested in this product because we want our clients, our customers that are coming in to be able to walk in and be able to use a our wireless infrastructure just like it was a cellular device. So they don't even know, they walk in, they think, man, my cellular's better right now. I can do all the things that I wanna do. I can do video. And they don't even know. So that's the biggest bonus for us.

Cons
Cisco
  • I would say out-of-the-box plugins. It's very easy to make it for DNA spaces, but I'd love to see more part more companies partner with them so that the plugins are just available to add on right out of the box. You don't have to work with a vendor and say, "Hey, I need you to come in and develop this API", it's already there. That would be the one thing that I would say that could get a little bit more help with.

  • It would be good if IBM could demonstrate more use cases for Z to potential clients
  • A migration strategy from Open Systems to Z would be helpful
  • Any additional marketing to could explain the benefits of Z/Linux, especially now that RedHat is in the mix.

If you need more processing power, just add more CPU's or memory. The largest system can have close to 200 CPU's and 40 TB of memory. If that is not enough, you can add more physical computers, and connect them using a sysplex
