Cisco IP Phone 6800 Series

I recommend to colleagues to purchase Cisco IP 6800 series phones for high reliability and practicality. On my desk I have a 6851 phone that has 2 ethernet ports. One of them to connect[s] the phone and the second connect[s] to my workstation because it is a switch type port. For group meetings, it is functional with the speakerphone feature and allows everyone around to also listen and participate in the meeting. I give top marks to these devices because they are VoIP phones with an excellent construction and high quality audio in HD, with caller ID and calendar display, integrated speakerphone, mute key, multiple SIP accounts, headset jack and support to PoE. It is complete and portable.

Cisco IP Phone 6800 Series

It's less expensive, more compact but not as robust and well-adopted/supported since Spectralink kind of owns the industry. Cisco needs to make more of these lines of DECT phones in order to compete.

Value proposition was by far and away the best. Any other system that had the features was much more expensive. The ease of programming made start up cost almost non existent. You have the ability to modify programming easily and do any special projects that invariable need to be accomplished by customer care.
