Miro
Chose Miro
Miro does not support UML well. I used plaintext daily, which is critical; however, miro missed that kind of feature. I use Miro mainly for drawing and collaboration between team members. It has its strength and cannot be missed in daily work without it. I highly recommend this …
Chose Miro
Overall, we feel Miro is hard to beat. Its extensive list of features covers major parts of a business process and its collaboration abilities are second to none. Furthermore, its transparency around security and reasonable pricing make it hard for us not to go for it.
Chose Miro
Miro has been my favorite as opposed to Bluescape and Asana. Bluescape felt a bit outdated and not as smooth to use. Asana did not have the extent of flexibility or features for the purposes we wanted.
Chose Miro
MURAL is similar, but I do not like the restriction on the project size and number of panels - Miro reduces some of these unnecessary barriers. Otherwise, I don't remember the other big differences between the two very similar product.
I do think the naming is a little strange, …
Chose Miro
Multi-user flexibility in terms of being up to date real time was very beneficial for us in Miro.

Miro acts like a whiteboard for us. so we don't always have to be formal with words/visualizations.
Chose Miro
I am just more familiar with Miro. And I really dislike how draw.io looks, it looks very 1990s, and I am not sure if it is because of my setting or not, but when my co-worker makes an update there, I don't see updates in real-time. I can only see it after my co-worker saved it.
Chose Miro
It has very similar features to the others mentioned; a lot of the basic functionality of using objects, text, and sticky notes. It seems to have the same learning curve as a result. However, we have now switched over to Figma for design and it would be nice to have more …
Chose Miro
Miro and MURAL are quite similar, but Miro is one step ahead in each of the aspects in which they can be evaluated.
Chose Miro
Except for a wide range of MS-Office products i didnt work with direct competitors of miro, so i cant tell a lot about it, but one thing i can surely tell, miro is in every way superior to the microsoft alternatives and workarounds, no doubt.
Chose Miro
I didn't select Miro personally, this is just the platform my university has chosen to use. But I can say that Miro is a more sophisticated and functional platform than Google Jamboard (likely because Jamboard is available freely and meant for non-enterprise use).
Chose Miro
Because I don't know about the other apps but I couldn't create boards and have all the features Miro offers
Chose Miro
Overall, Figma has a better interface and it's easier for sharing, but Miro is just as good in terms of allowing users to develop and put ideas to test.
Chose Miro
Miro is a very advanced and mature platform with so many features available. It is wise to say that no other tool is having such a wide set of features and tool for effective collaboration than Miro has. It also has a huge range of integration options available unlike any other …
Chose Miro
Miro is significantly superior to Visio and Figma for the purpose it serves i.e. collaboration. MURAL could be a close competitor, but from my last experience, MURAL lagged more and had fewer templates and visuals to play with.
Chose Miro
Miro provides much richer visual collaboration experience.
Chose Miro
The working environment in Miro is more productive for team brainstorming than Webex.
Chose Miro
Miro is built for this type of collaboration and Miro blows these products out of the water for this application. There is really no comparison.
Webex App
Chose Webex App
Lately, Webex is adopting many features of MS Teams. Both platforms can be used interchangeably, really depends on the participants and which platform is more compatible with all so that we can expect [fewer] problems for the planning and also during the execution of the meeting.

Miro
Miro's infinite canvas and sticky notes functionality make it ideal for brainstorming ideas, contributing thoughts and organizing them visually in real-time.Software teams use Miro to manage sprints, backlogs, and stand-ups, visualizing tasks and progress. We use it for sprint planning, retrospectives, and kanban boards.Miro is well suited for user journey maps, facilitating collaboration between designers, product managers, and developers. We've also used it for strategy planning and workshops: mapping out strategies, SWOT analysis, and plan projects. It's useful for visualizing goals, actions, and timelines. Also, we use it to organize research findings, synthesize user insights, and map out data visually, helping in the analysis and decision-making process. Less appropriate scenarios for Miro include working with Text Documents; doing High-Fidelity Prototyping and interactive prototypes that require detailed user interactions; and working with large datasets & calculations. We don't use Miro to replace the polished, slide-based presentations created in PowerPoint. Also, we need to be very careful with confidential information.

The biggest use case I have for Webex is the public and private Spaces feature. It is so handy to have a single place where I can collaborate with team members on a single project. We can chat about new ideas and share files just on that specific project. That way I am not having to search email, or a Sharepoint site or a network drives for files. And I don't have to search through a separate chat log for ideas for this project. Add to that that I can use the Webex app on my PC, Mac, iphone and Android tablet and that makes it the killer app.

Cons
Miro
  • Probably our instance of Miro, our security reqs: repeated need to sign in. Blerg.
  • I like rectangular stickies - but Miro defaults to square. Let me set my default.
  • Layers - I wish I could more easily have something below my stickies - yes - can do with locking but if you have to change your locked material, it's a pain.

  • The PIN message function is getting deleted after some time. I would prefer it to retain all PIN messages.
  • Option to add multiple quiet hours. This will allow me to set quiet hours for the whole weekend and not just the time range similar to weekdays.
  • Paste cells on messages. When I paste, for example, a 3x3 cell from a spreadsheet, the columns and rows are removed.

There is no other tool like Miro for process Mapping in particular. I've tried PowerPoint, Word, and other programs, but when collaborating virtually on how to improve a process, Miro has all of the tools and more to enable successful mapping. The colors, different types of shapes and text books, along with the ability to integrate different documents and other functionality, make it ideal for this purpose. In a virtual world, it's a must-have.

I don’t have access to video features.) In an age when our smartphones
do everything but call our friends, family, or clients, it’s refreshing
to have a desktop app that can make calls in the smartphone’s place. It
seems appropriate in a time when we’re all worried about the robots
rising and taking over the world. Why not transfer the functionality of a
telephone to the same computer where we program those world-dominating
robots? It’s practical. Cisco Jabber takes the classic idea of making
calls with a phone and puts it in the same place where we spend most of
our worktime. This frees up desk space, as well as keeps the smartphone
available for what it was invented to do: take Instagram photos. Not to
mention, because it has its own number, it makes it easier to contact
clients without having to give them your personal phone number. Need to
make a call, but you don’t want to share your home phone? Cisco Jabber
makes that easy. And best of all, because you call through your
computer, all you need is a microphone to speak and speakers to listen,
and you never have to pick up the phone at all. If you hate having
sweaty ears, then Cisco Jabber is your app of choice. Note: Because I
have access to phone features only, and Cisco Jabber has more available
that I can’t use, I can see where it may also be a pro for business
owners that Cisco apparently allows custom features availability for
users, depending on roles.

Usability
Miro
It's pretty easy to use. My gripes are with some small idiosyncrasies with selection behavior with objects and editing text. When I move an object, it automatically de-selects it when I am not done with it. I have to click to select again. Text control is challenging and could be improved. It could use a little more styling capability. It's also weird that it behaves differently in a shape then when using the text tool.

Webex is quite usable, and it is, in fact very easy to use as well. You don't need a lot of documentation to learn how to use the app as it's mostly self-explanatory. The user interface is easy on the eyes, and people can see buttons without issues. Overall, WebEx's front-end design is great and I don't have much issue with it.

Reliability and Availability
Miro
I only give a 9/10 because of the speed at which it loads. I have never experienced issues with Miro logging me out early, or some other technical issue causing the program to crash, or even it just loading in perpetuity without ever actually coming up (unlike other programs such as SFDC). It take a minute for all of my boards to come up after I click on it in my favorites, but besides that, it's all good.

I would say every time I open it, it is there, there are times that our users have to sign out and back in to get it to work or even do a full exit as the app will disconnect from the controlling the desk phone, but some easy steps to sign-out or fully exit the app gets the user back up and running quickly.

Performance
Miro
I took the loading quickly to be related to availability which I commented on before, so ditto with those comment on load time here. Although to reemphasize, Miro doesn't crash or just refuse to load like some other programs. The weak point of Miro for me is integration of files like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (especially the later two). When you embed these, it gets slow, and complicated to bring them up while you're in the application.

Software loads and runs well. I like the ability to run the full app version, or, just run through a browser using a lightweight webex experience. In a pinch, this ability has saved my bacon when I had to connect in an emergency on a borrowed phone or computer

The support staff at Miro are fantastic. Whenever I have had an issue, they have been timely and helpful with their response. They are also very knowledgeable and go out of their way to not only help, but offer proactive training sessions on different topics and new functionality so everyone can try it out.

The support team is quick in reverting to the issues faced, and it has multiple language support, which would be very helpful for some instances. Their expertise in resolving queries is instantaneous. Most of the common lags/issues in the application are identified and fixed with regular updates.

I am very satisfied with my experience with Webex App in online training. The creation of the event is very easy with the possibility of scheduling it in advance. The management of participants, organizers, and animators is complete. The invitations are automated and by simply using emails we can create all the schedules of the training session

There was a series of webinars which Miro hosted with our organization that went over the basics, then progressively became more advanced with additional sections. The instructors were knowledgeable, and provided examples throughout the sessions, as well as answered peoples' questions. There was ample time and experience on the calls to cover a range of topics. The instructors were also very friendly and sociable, as well as honest. Of course Miro isn't a "God-tool" that does absolutely everything, but the instructors were aware and emphasized the strengths where Miro had them and sincerely accepted feedback.

Very easy to create. All operations are done without any problems with our business growth. All people like the experience including me as an instructor. The tools that WebEx App offers us are very complete for working in a virtual classroom, whether it is sharing the screen, the different display modes, the whiteboard, or even the scoring tools on the screen, it allows me to do my job as an instructor as if I was face to face with the participants.

Alternatives Considered
Miro
I find Miro to be a superior tool, other tools I have used became unresponsive or too slow to be effective in the roles and jobs I needed them to do. I am currently working in a Miro board with over 1000 discrete elements and it loads fast, I can maneuver and work with the material in real time without the board lagging to keep up. When working with a tool like this, it's important the tool itself doesn't become an obstruction to getting the work done. With Miro, I've never had to worry about that

A lot of drops from calls/meetings frustrated me and my customers in some cases, but with Webex App, I see very less (or even null) drops, even when I am streaming HD content through my camera, even when I connected with the support team for other products for an explanation, they blame it on ISP even though my ISP gives around 200 Mbps speed, Webex App is miraculously never "affected" by ISP speed.

Scalability
Miro
Miro is great for scaling. In every department and subdivision across my entire organization, there is someone using it. From Sales to marketing, to manufacturing and operations; and even in legal and finance, there isn't a process or a department that is not using Miro, and if they aren't, they're missing out! Even at the highest to the lowest levels of the organization, it is essential for virtual collaboration.

Once everything is in place on the back end getting Webex on a user's PC is now very easy and with single sign-on, users are able to sign in without having to remember another password. Just make sure you have all the user settings in CUCM, CUC set right, and that they have the needed licenses in Webex Control Hub.
