ClickDesk

It was well suited for quick chats. Sometimes a topic over chat can be too complicated and requires a phone call which ClickDesk gives an option for a phone call. It is too specific and limited to conversations. The reason we moved away from this to Microsoft Teams is because Teams is a more all in one solution. It can do chat, phone calls as well as webinars and screen sharing.

Zoho Desk

Zoho [Desk] is well suited by certain services which are aimed at certain departments. I would think that each department uses one Zoho module based on what they do. As someone who is Admin on Zoho I have access and overview of all Zoho modules, but even I would not use most. It does not combine all these services into one "complete" solution for all departments. It might be helpful to have all services netted together to create one complete solution that all departments use and can all pull the relevant info as required. If this is already the intended purpose then perhaps more instruction needs to be given when onboarding clients as I am not sure how clear it is currently.

  • They have a simple agent panel, your agents don't have to be a pro tech to manage their agent panel.
  • They also have a simple ticking system along with live chat, it's not huge but it does work.
  • Easy to implement with well known knowledgeable and CMS.

Zoho Desk

  • One of the most useful features that this tool has. Is that it allows us to address the problems of users according to the type of problem they have and assign them a categorization. For example Urgent, normal, standard.
  • Another very useful feature that this tool has. Is that it allows us to visualize in a panel what are the unresolved activities or problems and thus any authorized active member can follow up and solve the problem.

  • Windows native application that has all the services we can use from browsers. The application should be boot with PC starts and notifies real time actions.
  • More information about users. Real time page visiting histories (more advanced way).
  • Customers can review the agent's profile information (public profile).

  • Although it connects well with Zoho CRM it could be a little smoother and automatic so that you don't have to think about it. It should just happen.
  • The interface is colourful and attractive however looks slightly dated.
  • Great value as part of Zoho One but could be a little expensive for very small operators.

I gave it a 9 because it is really very effective in terms of handling all the client feedback and tickets. It is a really versatile product and meets all the needs of an IT company. The product looks promising and robust. Client expectations are easily met and tickets are always well managed

N/A - never used. I've never needed to contact support for Zoho Desk. The reason is probably because of how easy the product is to use. I met with my team a few times to run through the software but we never had questions/concerns that lead us to contacting support.

ClickDesk

ClickDesk was good at what it did, but it doesn't have the holistic approach that Teams does. With Teams, you can not only chat and make calls, you can host webinars. You can see when people have read your messages to see if they are ignoring you or not. Screen sharing is a breeze and is easy to presentations with the audience. People can virtually raise their hands when they have a question. Also, it [is] easy to conduct polls from the audience in Teams.

After trialing and using Zoho Desk, we decided to move onto another product. Zoho has many features that make it a great product, but ease and intuitiveness of use was lacking for us.

  • We only see positive impact. We use the free version and it is the best option we found in the market (considering our website traffic).
  • It is in the cloud! So, no hosting costs at all! The only need is a stable Internet connection for the agents.

  • Over the year we have given resolution to more than 1500 tickets.
  • Now we are separating the tickets according to the departments or products.
  • Now our user can see the list of FAQs, which helps them to research their question before raising the tickets.
