ParkMyCloud vs. UiPath Integration Service

ParkMyCloud is well-suited for companies that have large cloud data sets in AWS or Azure and need to closely monitor the usage costs associated with the cloud. It is well-suited for companies with a large spend on cloud resources, but not very useful for entities with smaller cloud budgets.

Cloud Elements shines when you want to offer multiple options to the user on a type of system, such as supporting integration to CRM and wanting to offer Dynamics, Salesforce, and HubSpot on equal footing. If you only have a single integration with a single system, using Cloud Elements adds an unnecessary layer of abstraction.

• ParkMyCloud's user interface is great, and makes it easy to monitor activity.
• ParkMyCloud is precise. It's almost amazing how it knows when to shut off.

• The API itself is very robust and easy to use, being a standard REST interface, standard HTTP response codes, well-packaged error messages, etc.
• Their uptime is great! I think I've seen one (short) 5-minute' blip' the entire time we've been connected for any type of primary function.
• Their support is top notch, they respond quickly, and the team that works with you is communicative and knowledgable.

• The simple user interface is sometimes too simple.
• It's tough to tell whether the software actually does save money, but it seems like it does.
• The default recommendations provided by company are just ok.

• The only thing I can think of that they could improve is the quality of the assets they produce in the go-to-market process. This is a huge value add service, but the quality of what was produced was lower than what we would have produced internally. We spent more time going back and forth on the assets than it would have taken us to build them from scratch.

ParkMyCloud seems to be more cost effective than the alternatives I have run across. The software also seems to have a user interface that is second to none. I'm not sure on the other aspects of the software - latency, accuracy, ease of customization - compared to the other software tools. They seem to be good as well.

At the time we found Cloud Elements we found no other option that had a Unified API for cloud storage providers.

• ParkMyCloud has had a negative ROI in that it's hard to tell whether the time spent implementing the solution was worth it sometimes.
• ParkMyCloud has been a positive overall experience because it gets IT professionals thinking about costs, something they're not apt at doing often.
