Compas is the perfect tool to track and post jobs, also a great tool to track and follow up on candidates. It is also a great way of getting metrics for the recruiter's performance. It has to improve their payroll tools and integration. It is hard to follow up on markups and pay rates.

LinkedIn Talent Hub

I think Talent Hub could be well suited for companies that do not have any structure around their hiring and no internal recruiters to support them. The system will allow the manager to post their job and leave it alone but if you're a company with structure and internal teams to support recruiting efforts, there are better ATS platforms out there.

  • Integration with Gmail really helps us track messages between candidates and keep tabs of all our pipelines.
  • The resume parsing feature is really great and does a pretty accurate job of pulling the data from candidate resumes so that uploading new applicants is quick and easy.
  • The offer letter approval process feature that is built in is a great way for us to systemize the approval of offers and make sure it funnels into the appropriate channels.

LinkedIn Talent Hub

  • LinkedIn Talent provides customized templates that can be used to quickly reach out to candidates via LinkedIn InMail.
  • The pipeline feature allows recruiters and/or human resource directors to build, track, and manage candidates. It lets you organize candidates into folders and create lists with reminders.
  • You can share your activities, projects, searches, candidate profiles, and applicant notes with other people throughout the company.

  • It doesn't allow for much control on changes that are done. All employees have access to modify other employees information, it has an audit trail and would show who made the changes and what the previous information was even if these are easily fixed situations. It has led to confusion with the misuse of some of the employees in our company.
  • It should have better integration with more payroll systems. They are currently offering some integration but it is not possible to fully integrate unless the payroll system is part of the compatible ones.
  • When a candidate applies from Indeed or any other job search engine, their resume tend to be modified and some dates get into the wrong places, so their parsing system should get some improvement, or at least allow to update the file that has been uploaded.

LinkedIn Talent Hub

  • InMails. The con of sending InMails is that many times you don’t get a response back. Linkedin should have a feature where a recruiter can know if their InMails was even viewed. Better mechanisms need to be put in my place for the InMails feature.
  • Cost. LinkedIn recruiter is not cheap. I wish the cost could be a bit lower especially if there are multiple users.
  • Connectifier is not helpful for global candidates. Many of the candidates that I reach out to are international. Unfortunately, Connectifier isn’t helpful in obtaining email addresses for these international candidates.

I'm giving this a 6 only because in my 1 year at my current position we have had 3 different reps. The first was unresponsive and passive when attempting to help us. When she came out to do a demo on a new feature launch it was scattered and all over the place. The person we have now is great and is super helpful when ever we need him.

Compas has a cleaner interface than the other ATSs . It doesn't look clunky. That being said system is that not intuitive. But once you learn it, it works pretty well. We picked Compas because of the Gmail integration. Gmail/Google is a big part of the system we run on and having Compass feed into that [is as well].

LinkedIn Talent Hub

All of these platforms have their pros and cons - none are perfect! I like the connectivity of LinkedIn Talent, and the exposure it brings. It is also fairly easy to use. However, we have chosen to utilize Workable more, as it has better integration options, a larger job board pool and more user friendly for our employees. Additionally, we do not have sales rep contacting us frequently, like we do with LinkedIn

Compas

  • Having the ability to post as many ads as possible for a fixed price each month is a great way of strongly staffing without spending the extra money. We used to spend more money a month when we used to post in Zip-recruiter directly.
  • It stores a lot of good functions to make sure each employee in our branches is doing the different calls and follow-ups they need to be doing daily, and it has helped the company improve personnel performance to 30%.
  • The Company has centralized all the employees' info into one system and it allows to improve the response and the times in response.

  • LinkedIn Talent has allowed us to truly build up our candidate database/pipeline.
  • As we have started to explore job postings as well, we have found that it has been effective in targeting the audiences that are most relevant to the roles that we are working on.
  • Ability to now filter through active candidate preferences.
