ConnectLeader Team Dialer

Definitely well suited for sales teams looking to have a high number of conversations with prospects. It automates the dialing process with a very fluid integration with Salesforce. Because it dials a list of prospects, the connects aren't as controllable as they would be with a one-off dialing tool. So it's worth outlining what type of solution is best suited for who is being targeted.

Consider the market you are going after. I think using Groove is a very helpful SDR/outbound tool that can enhance a team's ability to get in touch with their target prospects. Be careful to not overdue automatic emails with templates. This can make your organization look unfocused. Groove is a great outbound sales platform for keeping your top prospects in a cadence. I'm not sure it's a tool I would use If I were only going after a small handful of large accounts.

Groove

  • Clean format - never feel overwhelmed on the scheduling page, and I have never gotten complaints about the site not working for my students. Scheduling students is always a challenge, and any ways to take challenges away from that process is a win.
  • Editing meeting types - again, I find the UX to be delightful, and don't dread updating or adding meeting types where needed.
  • Time zones - I have students and colleagues across the country, and being able to edit the time zone for the user minimizes confusion. No more "my 2pm or your 2pm?" back and forth.

  • Groove analytics is great - but when you export the data out of Groove, it leaves out key information (like call dispositions)
  • You can only import reports that have less than 250 accounts in a single Groove Workspace
  • You can't export any Groove Workspace data
  • Groove Workspace notes do not save when transferring an account to a different Workspace

Our Groove representative has been very attentive the the needs of our sales teams. They are always available to provide training for new employees and refreshers for members of the team who have been slow to adopt. The online support is also very good, I have had several questions answered quickly using the online support chat function.

We selected ConnectLeader because we were experiencing several tech issues with our previous tool and we didn't like how their customer support team handled the communication from their end. We've appreciated the communication from ConnectLeader when there are updates or have noticed issues, they've been proactive and responsive depending on what we're experiencing.

I was not involved in the selection process of Groove for our organization, but having been a user of different software solutions in this space I have not come across a better solution for the sales workflow management aspect. Groove is best in class when it comes to streamlining sales prospecting and engagement efforts. Where I would like to see Groove possibly evolve over time is in contact data enrichment space. It would be a powerful combination to have the current tools that they have in place coupled with industry leading contact data enrichment compared to a ZoomInfo.
