HubSpot’s CRM enables growth-minded businesses to optimize their relationships with leads and customers. Through harnessing the power of carefully crafted sales, marketing, customer service, content management, and operations tools, the software aims to make it easy to unify team strategy and drive conversion. Additionally, the software allows users to connect with over 875 integration apps, APIs, and solutions partners to create a customizable user experience that suits the way teams work.…
SharpSpring from Constant Contact is more streamlined (and cost-effective), especially for smaller businesses that don't need all the complexity and confusion of bigger options like Salesforce.
SharpSpring has created a vacuum in my business for the better. Marketing as a service only gets to its final stage once you have a powerful way to leverage the data in your client's businesses to their advantage. We could never do this for our clients until we found …
SharpSpring, for the price, is preferred over HubSpot and Pardot. I prefer SharpSpring to Infusionsoft/Keap for the ability to load media, track users and granular lead scoring.
We use different CRMs for different clients, mostly due to budget and other requirements. SharpSpring from Constant Contact is in the middle, price-wise, but is slightly more user-friendly than ActiveCampaign when it comes to certain things, such as drip campaigns and …
From my research, SharpSpring has every functionality that is needed to effectively deliver omnichannel sales and marketing solutions for most businesses. It is ahead of the market in terms of dynamic personalisation, automation, and retargeting. In terms of value for money, it …
SharpSpring gives you 98% of the functionality of HubSpot at a much more competitive price. It loses out a little on ease of use and reporting, but once you have got up to speed with SharpSpring there is little that you miss from HubSpot, and the fact that the CRM is included …
I believe SharpSpring stacks up against Salesforce and HubSpot quite well and beats the price of them significantly. I am would definitely recommend anyone familiar with these sales and marketing automation platforms to give SharpSpring a try. I believe you will be quite …
Hubspot is a great tool at affordable to get started with. However, Hubspot can get pricey very quickly as you begin to start using its more advanced features.
SharpSpring is superior in price and marketing capability. Hubspot is more user friendly, though when it comes to CRM ability. However, with SharpSpring's ability to have multiple marketing e-mail campaigns going at once, tracking all of that, and being as affordable as they …
Price, features & support trump the others for me, and over the years have not felt like I made the wrong choice. I have used it in many different industries with many unique requirements, and till now have found that it has been able to perform as expected. I will continue to …
SharpSpring was the most affordable option for my small agency and my clients. It was also the only one with an agency-focused model, allowing me to offer the platform to my clients without exorbitant cost to my agency. The marketing automation capabilities are the most robust …
Sharpspring helps us consolidate two old services we used in a simpler fashion. Our team made the recommendation to migrate and it's been a great success to sales and marketing teams. I myself as a partner get to see some of that improvement in both department's performance so …
SharpSpring's customer service blows the competition out of the water. They are an integral part of your success with SharpSpring. I've never had such great customer success teams that are always going out of their way to make sure the solution they provide is the right one.
Lower cost - higher-value solution with a focus on marketing automation with core CRM capabilities. It is a simpler solution because it focuses on the essentials. They have several features that exceed the competition. Their visualizations and Ux around workflow automation, …
SharpSpring gives you all features in one for a better price than HubSpot. Other competitors were way to expensive for way less features. HubSpot you need to purchase the marketing and sales pro features separately which adds up. Even then, they are missing features as they are …
SharpSpring is a useful CRM and marketing automation software, it has similar features and is cheaper than HubSpot. I am using SharpSpring every day and I am very satisfied with the service that they offer for half of the price that I paid for HubSpot before. Also, the customer …

I have run multiple compare/contrast consultation scenarios for SMB clients and SharpSpring delivers the greatest functionality for the money. We support clients on HubSpot and Salesforce as well. In very large enterprises Salesforce is often already installed or makes sense; …
Other services can feel like you are getting upcharged for everything. SharpSpring is great because I am constantly getting the feeling that I have gotten more than I am paying, which is a great feeling. HubSpot is a great service but SharpSpring matched my company's need more …
SharpSpring is very similar to HubSpot. HubSpot offers more in the partnership program but the price can be exclusive to other parts of the country with lower median incomes.
Mailchimp is a simplified version of SharpSpring. SharpSpring offers far more uses and is much better …
We prefer SharpSpring to HubSpot for its marketing and sales tools. We found the pricing the best option for what the application provides. We found the training and account managing support far higher in quality from SharpSpring than HubSpot. We were less engaged with the …

Constant Contact was often clunky or difficult to customize. Salesforce similar. I've have also used internal or proprietary CRMs, but nothing really compares.
Hubspot allows you to have all the information of the contact in one place. Even if the company, deal, and contact are on different pipelines, they will work as one big structure. You can merge contacts and deals, and you can update everything; I really love HubSpot as our CRM; …
HubSpot is a much more sales-efficient CRM. I think SharpSpring works well with marketing departments, but for B2B SaaS sales, Hubspot makes our AEs the most profitable. The sales funnel, the customizable tracking, opportunity creation, tracking of emails and calls, and even …
Very limited functionality from SharpSpring at the time (over 3 years ago). HubSpot's pricing plan for startups made it a no-brainer to give HubSpot a try.
There is no comparison between HubSpot and SharpSpring. HubSpot is a lot more accurate in the tracking of the activity, and easier to use and learn. I often train clients on it, and they all pick it up in no time, and once they start using it they never go back.
Constant Contact is excellent for small businesses wanting a simple email to their customers and leads. We've found that it's not the most robust solution for more complex funnels involved in e-commerce or information publishing. For instance, setting up specific flows based on user behavior, VIP status, and other attributes is lacking.
As I mentioned earlier, HubSpot helps organize the sales leads we contact. It makes it more accessible from the angle that we do not duplicate our work by contacting the same client by two different people. In addition, we can track the work and add reminders to follow up.
Their Emailers are very easy to construct and user-friendly. It takes your Newsletter and sales emails to the next level, especially with the action groups and trigger functionalities.
The life of the lead functionality allows you to see when leads get warmer, so you know when to send them what. Helps improve conversions.
Personalized email campaigns: It helps to create highly effective personalized emails with its wonderful content tokens.
Scheduling of meetings: It eliminates the bottlenecks in the process of meeting schedule with its amazing integrating capabilities with other calendar tools like Google calendar. It also ensures the automatic reminders of meetings to the participants of meeting.
Automation for follow-up : With its feature called "sequences", follow-up emails made easy.
The landing page builder is a bit hard to use. Doesn’t have much flexibility.
Sometimes confusing between types of workflows to use. Opportunity versus visual.
If you imported contacts that weren’t formatted correctly. It is hard to delete a bull amount. Need to type DELETE for each one manually. No bull options to make changes.
A lot of my companies have one URL for a ton of branches and each branch has their own name and location so I have to manually enter all the information because they all have the same URL so I can't easily use an Excel file to import those contacts so a faster solution to this would be appreciated
Making Corporate and branch associations is very tedious, it would be nice if the companies that all share the same url would automatically associate with the corporate company so I didn't have to manually do it
I would like to not see all the extra feature tabs in my layout because I am not using them so it would be nice to be able to turn them off (even the ones that are in my plan that I don't use, it would be nice to turn them off)
We have been very impressed with all aspects of this software and the potential for it to radically change how we operate is huge! Support has been exceptional and we have discovered many extra uses for the software than originally thought. Not only will it give us benefits for our company's growth, but for our client's growth as well.
To be honest there are some barriers due to which we are unable to use Hubspot at it's full potentials. The region that we work in has some restrictions that don't allow us to make calls or text which leaves us to just Email to the client.
This rating is coming from an administrative perspective. With so many features, workflows, dashboards, and more, there is certainly a lot going on, and even the most savvy software user can get a little overwhelmed when trying to decide how to best implement and utilize the platform to its full potential. That being said, the SharpSpring platform is well-implemented and well-organized, with most solutions being fairly intuitive, once you have a grasp of the software. It is fairly easy to learn, but difficult to master. Just like any powerful platform, however, the complexity is worth it, and once you are comfortable navigating and problem solving within SharpSpring, it becomes a great marketing and sales tool which can do virtually anything you need it to.
I think the usability is great. I am able to train a new agent with zero experience in our process with HubSpot in a day or less. They can be proficient in using HubSpot quickly, the way I've designed it to work, in less than a week. I am able to load new leads, set calling campaigns, and start prospecting quickly. I've even had to call customer service for help, and they were super helpful.
The support is great which really helps overcome challenges if you become stuck and the training videos are great too. Same-day replies are great and I even got some help with some CSS code on the chat. Not many organizations would do this or even respond.
Because when I needed help HubSpot responded immediately and provided me with the information I needed which enabled me to realize that HubSpot was even more customizable and easier to use than I thought! And I already thought HubSpot was very user friendly and easy to use, and then Support showed me how to manipulate the settings, columns and the appearance of the tool.
Overall I would say to be patient and bring everyone who will be touching the platform to the onboarding sessions. The Virtual Classroom lets you onboard as quickly or slowly as you want. Sales, marketing, design, account management, get 'em all in on it. For the most part, they will be happy to use this platform. I recommend getting as many people as possible to see the SharpSpring demo.
If you've had any prior experience with cloud based marketing automation or group communication tools, you can do the implementation without paid outside support. Though getting to a SLA (service level agreement) would be best achieved with the help of a third party who can facilitate

SharpSpring: approx. $13,000 USD per year + $2,000 USD one-time for onboarding Pardot: $32,400 USD per year + $3,000 to $5,000 USD one-time for onboarding HubSpot: $20,381 USD per year + $3,000 USD one-time for onboarding Marketo: $29,015 USD per year + $4,500 USD one-time for onboarding
HubSpot is different as it allows us to see all deals as we wanted to compare to others as other apps don't have those features Hubspot has to view deals in different views and make it according to your pipelines the way you want to see the deals and data track the daily reports very easily and review our own performance for the day to grow more.
Streamlined Processes - sales and marketing are now all in the same place.
Reduced Number of Platforms/Tools - CRM/lead management, email, automation, landing pages, forms, etc are all in the same place rather than using multiple tools.
Time-saving - sales pipeline is very easy to use for sales. For marketing, we have dozens of workflows that eliminate much of our manual processes from the past.
Return on Investment - We're more focused on moving the building the business than ever before because SharpSpring has simplified so many of our business operations and we're seeing massive results!
Lead generation - Up SIGNIFICANTLY (between 3x & 4x) since setting up SharpSpring.
HubSpot is great for tracking deals - we use the deal pipeline to understand the part of the lifecycle that each and every deal is currently in. It also provides good historical information.
The contacts section is great for storing and managing engaged users for our mailing list. We utilise this feature with the free version.
The customisable dashboard is a great feature that enables you to keep the most important information on the home screen at log-in
