Pros

Conversocial

  • Conversocial provides an orderly, easily navigated platform for routing and answering social media comments and inquiries. This makes the tool easy to train and understand. It also segments and archives the communications in an accessible way for review or recovery.
  • There are different levels of management within the tool that also allows for managing a team through a dashboard of information. Managers are able to set limitations for different ability levels within their teams and to edit responses if necessary. This is a security, not only in practicality but also in peace of mind for a business.
  • Conversocial also creates insightful analytics that can be produced at the push of a single button at any time. You also have a page within the tool that provides real time analytics that are crucial to a business should a crisis occur.
  • The support team at Conversocial were very attentive to matters if issues came up. The resolutions were never far behind the reporting of a problem.

  • The platform easily measures social media, blogs, posts worldwide using different algorithms, collects public mentions, and automatically analyzes the situation then provides a customizable solution that will have more chances to get accepted and will work fine.
  • It has the best features to be the best in terms of functionalities and features include in it.
  • Daily report feature is also very intuitive.

  • Ban settings: currently, you can only ban from one single page at a time. Our organization has a few different pages and it would be nice if we could ban one user across all pages in one single click
  • Reply and notes section: in the past it was easy to add a note as a reply. Conversocial has since changed this and made the 'reply' section very bold so you do not accidentally type a note in the reply section.
  • Tagging: It would be nice if we could tag users from Conversocial. However, this seems to be a Facebook issue and not a Conversocial one.

  • Customer support of SentiOne is not up to mark.
  • They need to be more accessible and responsive to our questions instead of making us hold for hours and do not provide any solution which is tiring and less professional.
  • Customer support needs a lot of attention and has more knowledge about the platform to be helpful.

The only two reasons we would not continue using Conversocial are it's lack of comprehensive analytics and its lack of Radian6's categorization tools. Tags make up for the categorization pretty well, however, and we're considering switching everything over to this now that we've tested tags for a couple months within Conversocial. (I previously wrote that Conversocial lacks support for some social channels like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, but they have now added Instagram and YouTube.)

Alternatives Considered

I have experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Simplify 360, Conversocial, Radian6, Cision, and Wildfire. Each of the platforms has a different strength. Conversocial excels at customer service management while Sprout Social is ideal for social media monitoring/engagement, reporting, and identifying influencers. Radian6 is beneficial for monitoring and tracking conversations. Wildfire is no longer available but it was an advanced platform with robust capabilities. It has been operational in our organization for a long time and has a great find for us all in all.   • The best feature that I like the most and have been using for a long time that its analytical section is up to mark.
  • When I open the analytical section it gives me the all insights of my audience including their gender, location, days when most of the mentions are published which is great to have. It is best to have more marketing wins as it does not limit the searches of keywords.
  • This helps to search multiple phrases connected with a marketing strategy which is life and most recent in trends.
