Core HR is software that can so easily fit on any kind of HR management system. It has amazing features. In case of new recruitment applicant tracking, application management, approval process control, etc could easily solve with Core HR. It is very much suited for company records management. It is a complete database for current employees as well.

Frontline Education

Frontline is great for making sure that absences are reported to management and Human Resources. It is helpful for scheduling subs to fill in, as well as seeing upcoming dates where employees do not have to come to work. Frontline is well-suited for an easy-to-use scheduling system. As it isn't a complex program, there isn't a lot that can go wrong with it. However, if you're looking for something more robust and with better integration with other platforms, you might want to look elsewhere.

  • Salary slip is available for all the previous months as well.
  • Claiming of different allowances like phone bill, internet bill, shift allowance etc are very simple.

Frontline Education

  • Teachers cannot cancel their own absence. We have to ask the office staff to do so. This is irritating when an absence must be canceled (Due to a canceled professional development, for example).
  • Sometimes absences go unfilled. It would be great if AESOP could have a roster of qualified substitutes to cover absences.
  • You cannot assign your absence to a particular substitute if you know he or she is available and a good fit for your absence.

      While we have had minor issues logging in as our organization has its own login page, the site and its application are very easy to use. So long as members of a group log in through the appropriate page, navigating and using this site is quite easy. With the transition from Aesop to Frontline, the page also seems to have worked through any glitches found with the previous page and its app.

      Internal support is provided by EDU Staff based out of Grand Rapids. Whenever I have had an issue they are very responsive to my needs. For instance, there may be conflicts in the amount of money that was listed for the contract. There may be questions about the length of an assignment such as 1/2 day, full day, or early dismissal. The school will sometimes enter the wrong information. Very good IT support, but sometimes you are on hold for 5 to 10 minutes because they do not have enough workers in their Call Center

      The previous software I used was so limited in various core HR functions. On the other hand Core HR meets up our almost every requirement. And the very most reason to switch into Core HR is it has a free trail version for the users. That gives you much flexibility to check everything out properly

      I have used ReadySub in a previous district, but at a different level than I use Aesop Online. Aesop definitely has familiarity in Illinois school district versus other vendors. Additionally, because we utilize Frontline Recruiting & Hiring, there is minor integration there that helps adding new employees or substitutes in Aesop directly from their application.

      • Claim different allowances with this tool and track it as well.
      • Track your time and attendance here.
      • We can modify the shift plan here and change the WOs but it will go for approval to your manager.
      • The process of changing the WOs, regularization is little difficult.

      • It's given staff direct access to inputting their absences and secure coverage quicker, whereas before they had to make a call to a person. That person had to secure coverage for the entire district at different levels. Sometimes that person was absent or unable to provide coverage.
