We have traditionally use SAP products and from a SAP perspective, cloud definitely is much more leverageable than on-premise.

We compared SAP SuccessFactors with Meta4, but we choose SAP because of the cost-benefit relation. We think both can fit our requirements. We also gave value to the friendly user experience and ease of use of employees.

For the performance management piece based on end-user feedback, on ease of use and GUI and how friendly it is, the balance moves to SAP in this case. There isn't a huge difference between these though, it's a matter of cost-benefit relation, all can do great things, coming …

Core HR is software that can so easily fit on any kind of HR management system. It has amazing features. In case of new recruitment applicant tracking, application management, approval process control, etc could easily solve with Core HR. It is very much suited for company records management. It is a complete database for current employees as well.

Well suited: For employee leaning management system (LMS) - Successfactors LMS allows orgs to deliver and track employee training programs. It addresses issues related to skill gaps, compliance training and overall employee development. Less appropriate: For Workforce analytics and reporting: I personally found the analytics segment difficult and cumbersome to use.

  • Functioning is very easy and very much clear to the new users as well.
  • Detailed payroll structure of your compensation.
  • Salary slip is available for all the previous months as well.
  • Claiming of different allowances like phone bill, internet bill, shift allowance etc are very simple.
  • We can easily track the time and attendance.

  • The whole software is not user friendly from and admin side.
  • A lot of our problems have stemmed from our implementation partner not having the knowledge and experience we needed.
  • Updates to the system have been made and it’s affected too many entities in our learning module. Settings to previous uploads needed to be changed, the previous settings applied did not work the same, etc. constant updates are needed.

Until now we have not had serious availability problems with SuccessFactors, we had Microsoft Active Directory and SSO with ADFS and we had availability problems but because of problems with ADFS, we migrated to Azure AD and with that the availability problems of SuccessFactors because of ADFS went away. The only windows of unavailability that we have had are those that we are communicated to do maintenance and upgrades.

The performance is very good, the truth is that we have not had serious performance problems, some complex reports may take a little longer, but considering the complexity and the amount of records it is an acceptable time. We have never received a complaint from users regarding page loading speed.

SuccessFactors Employee Central gets a middle of the road rating from me because of the things it does really well - Training. It falls short with the objectives cascade and visibility amongst my reports. That's what brings it down to a 5. Objectives need to be clear and concise in order to gain buy-in from your reports, and SuccessFactors muddies that by poor delineation between cascaded attributes and my report's objectives. The whole objectives cascade can be reworked.

The previous software I used was so limited in various core HR functions. On the other hand Core HR meets up our almost every requirement. And the very most reason to switch into Core HR is it has a free trail version for the users. That gives you much flexibility to check everything out properly

SAP success factors provided robust talent management, global scalability and strong analytics capabilities. And they provide strong user experience options and there is no limitation on customisation as is the case with Oracle HCM Cloud. It has the specific modules which the organisation desires and has strong existing integration capabilities and with existing systems .

  • We can see our all details here like salary statement.
  • Payroll information(complete breakup of you compensation).
  • Claim different allowances with this tool and track it as well.
  • Track your time and attendance here.
  • We can modify the shift plan here and change the WOs but it will go for approval to your manager.
  • The process of changing the WOs, regularization is little difficult.

  • As I have have highlighted multiple time, using SAP Analytics Cloud, we built multiple reports with help of the analytics team that presented detailed visualizations of the available HCM data
