Cornerstone is the #1 Learning Management System for a reason. The Learning Management and Performance Management tools are amazing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a talent platform. They have room to grow in the recruiting space. I believe that the new tools on the roadmap look promising, however, we ended up removing this tool from our contract and going with another vendor. Cornerstone is not nearly as experienced in the talent acquisition space as it is in talent management.

TimeForce is a versatile system, but is is better suited for the US environment. And with flexibility comes responsibility: should you go for a more customized setup, it may be hard to maintain it, both as get quality recommendations from Infinisource's on how to fix problems.

  • As I mentioned previously, it provides the ability for everyone to check their available time through their portal whenever they would like. Other systems I have used, employees would have to request a report for their available time / time used.
  • The layout is very streamlined and easy to navigate. When training new employees on the system, I don't spend more than 5 minutes with them and they are able to accurately login and navigate on their own.
  • The MyScreen tab is very useful. It has most everything you need to track on the same tab without having to print reports. Being able to see everyone that is currently clocked in is very beneficial. Other systems you would have to print a report to get this information.

  • Too much functionality for more basic usage. So many bells and whistles that implementing basic time and PTO tracking was more complicated than should be since everything was highly integrated.
  • PTO tracking was a little tricky. Had to manually go in an accrue PTO for employees after every pay period. Instances of PTO requests going through twice, perhaps by employee error, but not being able to easily clear out without deleting entire accrual and starting from scratch.
  • Reports did not come out cleanly. Could view them nicely within TimeForce but once exported to Excel they would lose all formatting and sometimes lose certain data columns.
  • Employee profiles needed to be set up in two different places with repeated data. Was tricky and not intuitive.

As long as pricing stays reasonable, we will likely stay with Cornerstone for at least one more contract renewal. It would be a large task to migrate all of our content to a new system. However, the LMS landscape is diversifying with new startups that are showing some real innovation.

The system works, period. QQest support is extremely knowledgeable of their product. In the very few times I have contacted them (mostly for updates) I allow them to remote in and the problem is fixed or the application is upgraded within the hour.I have not run into any errors with the system, it has performed bug-free (at-least to the user) for the entire six years that I have managed the system. The only issues that we encountered and needed support where in the event of a software upgrade.One thing I might consider a negative is the cost of the Microsoft SQL Server product needed at your cost in order to run the TimeForce software (if localized). Currently we are considered using the hosted solution at our next upgrade point.We don't have to renew until we are ready to upgrade, but we always have support available which is nice.

Cornerstone OnDemand in general has very good usability. It is easy for end users to start using it. We don`t need to provide any trainings for learners or line managers. At maximum we can create one pager with general information. It is easy to search trainings. You don’t need to know the ID or full name of training.

I have found as the administrator it is very cumbersome for most individuals to use and it is not very intuitive. An individual that is not technologically advanced will have difficulty using as well as those that are lazy and just do not want to learn to do it. The manuals they give you are not helpful for the web-based program. I had to create my own with pictures for most individuals to understand the system.

Pages do not load quickly. Often times any action or selection of a box, drop down, check, pretty much ANY Javascript interaction causes the whole entire page to load/reload/start doing something in the background. This makes a nightmare for having to mass edit courses or upload ILT sessions. It's the one of the archaic web designs they use that really bugs me as an admin and makes working in the portal at times intolerable and insufferable

They are still working out issues with their support ticket system. I think we are now experienced enough that when we submit a ticket, there is not a quick easy answer and involves higher levels of support so it does tend to take a LONG time to get assistance. When there is a major issue, their communication is getting better but when you have a defect to report or a high level support it's going to be a while. They do have EXCELLENT online help, a very active online community where customers help customers and great user groups so there is other avenues of help

Our agency used a 3rd party payroll vendor that was a partner of Infinisource iSolved so we didn't experience Infinisource iSolved support directly. However, our clients seemed to feel that the support was more than satisfactory. We never fielded complaints from them about their use of Infinisource iSolved or the service they received from it.

The system was very cumbersome setting up as well as time consuming. There were times I just wanted to walk away and sometimes I did have to get up and walk away for a break and come back with a fresh perspective. The setup took me over a period of two to three months getting it to serve the purposes that we needed it two. I am very intuitive when it comes to computer software however getting all the right buttons checked in order for it to do what I needed didn't always work.

Cornerstone OnDemand is lightyears ahead of HealthStream. HealthStream's system is archaic and does not have any features besides basic compliance training. HealthStream is not visually appealing and users simply choose to log in and complete only what has been assigned to them. Cornerstone's catalog is so much more user friendly and inviting.

We used to use Microsoft Great Plains in-house prior to iSolved. It was a lot of manual entries for my department. Everything we did for payroll was on my shoulders. iSolved has set controls on how to get payroll done, and terminate employees. Plus, benefit reports for employees are eligible for insurance or 401(k).

  • iSolved has helped the company clearly see who may be trying to accrue more overtime or someone who is under working. It gives a clear view of the hours your employees are putting in.
  • It frees up a lot of time for HR because all paper documents for taxes, benefits and reviews are all digitized now. Less time having to consolidate and file over 200 employees' information.
  • To piggyback off my last statement, iSolved has also lessened our company's carbon footprint. More online forms and e-signing means less paper and ink being wasted on each singular employee multiple times over.
