CoSchedule

CoSchedule is well suited for:
  1. Marketing teams who are trying to move away from spreadsheets.
  2. Small teams that are quickly expanding in size.
  3. Organizations who can't afford expensive project management tools.

Triblio

Triblio is well suited for ABM programs that are nascent or growing, and want to make some quick wins. I always caution people that are developing an ABM practice to not start with technology, but when you have the data and go-to-market strategy Triblio can produce some quick, visible wins. You should not invest in Triblio until you have a high level of data integrity in your CRM, a clear go-to-market strategy, and a defined list of target accounts selected to and agreed to be management. With those things done, Triblio will quickly enable you to ramp up targeted messaging to the account prospects that matter.

Pros

CoSchedule

  • The monthly calendar view gives me a broad overview of all the content we have in production.
  • The notes section within each blog topic helps me keep an organized list of items or links relevant to that topic.
  • The headline analyzer gives me another option to test my headline before publishing, to see how it scores.

Triblio

  • Integrates with Salesforce - as we take an ABM approach, leveraging the data in salesforce to target key accounts is key to success.
  • Provides many personalization options - Triblio makes it easy to personalize your webpage so that you can offer a tailored experience based upon what you know of key accounts
  • ABM Ads - it offers a platform to upload and deploy targeted ads to key accounts and buyers

Cons

CoSchedule

  • Would like to replicate some of the functionality of Buffer (sharing other content easily from multiple sources) to consolidate our marketing calendar in one place.

Triblio

  • The platform is maturing. We've encountered a few small hiccups with the technology and there are certain features that are more than just nice-to-have, that are missing from the platform. That being said, the roadmap is robust and it seems to be evolving quickly with customer demands.

We continue to have a good experience with Triblio, and they continue to deliver value for our money. If they would do a better job with analytics, then it'd be easier for me to tie campaign activities to the bottom line.

We have a cheaper version of Triblio, so we don't have all the bells and whistles. But, this works great for us. It's easy to use and the platform only includes things that we use instead of a handful of features that just slow it down. It looks like a simple version of Google Ads

I didn't have to use their official support, but I can say that they put out a lot of content online to help users. Their YouTube page has quite an array of tutorial videos explaining how things work and how to get the most out of their tools. If you're struggling, before picking up a phone or blasting off an email, try searching for your problem on YouTube or their forums.

I have a scheduled check-in every week with an account rep. In the first several months of using Triblio, our meetings often ran the full 30 minutes. Now, they’re usually 5-10 minutes long because I’m more comfortable with the platform. If I ever have an issue or question outside of that weekly check-in, they usually respond with a resolution within 24 hours.

Alternatives Considered

CoSchedule

CoSchedule provides collaborative planning of projects. The calendar view is very well designed. Meetings and tasks can be scheduled and tracked easily. Whatever is being done, no matter how big the task/project is, it gives a bird-eye view of everything. Additionally, it also integrated very well with WordPress. Their customer service team is also very helpful.

Triblio

We were sold on Triblio for the web personalization elements on the home page but found that demand for them wasn't strong amongst the Sales Team. However, we found an upside in the content hubs. We are taking the content experience to the next level and looking to replace it with Uberflip. Triblio's were similar to what we get from Engagio, and they didn't match well, so we didn't use it.

Return on Investment

CoSchedule

  • Probably too early to tell for certain but it is definitely value priced right now. Fully developed content management platforms are running in $15-$20k per year range and more. You can get into a CoSchedule solution for $
  • Team has found it easy to sign on and review tasks so this is a big time saver. More could be done to enable Guests easier access to content they need to review
  • It's way faster that other scheduling apps we have tried. The fact that it runs on a cloud based app or inside your Wordpress app is a real plus. Auto save feature also means you don't have to remember to save your content.

Triblio

  • Positive impact on our current client accounts for ABM in retaining clients.
  • Extremely helpful with 1-1 ABM campaigns and increasing our conversion rates.
  • The website personalization has helped heavily promote key activities and assets that has driven a large amount of conversion rates leading to closed deals.
