Salesforce CPQ

Suited well for enterprise level companies who are familiar with needed to build multiple quotes and distribute them with confidence. There is a need for the process to be even more streamlined and effective. The quicker I can complete this process, the faster the turnaround for onboarding the client.

I wish they would get on the phone with me and actually provide me in-depth support at a minimum since I haven't had training and nobody provided me with insight that our instance of CPQ was two years old until I was proactive and asked about the issues we were having. They should provide service/product version update information proactively to their customers.

Steelbrick is definitely an easier tool to configure. Apttus requires maintenance batches to be run after any config change made which can be a pain in the A. Steelbrick gives me time back in my day to work on other projects as I can get through my configuration tasks much quicker

  • It's a critical part of our business, and as such, has had a huge impact on our ability to flexibly quote products, manage those quotes, and respond rapidly to customer requests. Hard to quantify, but it's a bit like email, we can't get by without it.
