Craft is really well suited for any size design team - I have used it within a team of 3, and within a team of 30. It helps with collaboration within the team, and between external teams through 'sync' with Invision. It increases efficiency of using Sketch with things like 'data', 'duplicate', and 'stock'. These tools not only make designing faster, but also more realistic, allowing us to 'test' our designs sooner.

Receptive is very effective for multiple internal teams/department of a single product who need to scale their product feedback management effectively. We've been leveraging it for one of our products and it was so successful, that we implemented it with a second product. The main issue we ran into situationally with that was managing 2+ modules (products) in Receptive; it was a bit more difficult to present Receptive to two different customer bases/users (we couldn't change the appearance) and slightly confusing to do within the app (lots of filtering needed). I have heard that support of multiple modules is something that Receptive will likely be working on in the near future, so that's good news.
Read full review Pros Craft is built to digital products developers, so its workflow is great. It has a very nice interface and is a beautiful tool. Read full review Easy collection of enhancement requests Linking to Jira tickets for development priorities Provides visibility for our customers into their priorities Read full review Cons Text formatting is sometimes difficult and can break your flow of writing. The button for creating another level is exceptionally hard to see and poorly placed. Copying rich text out of the app pastes it with an odd styling. Craft was originally developed in response to
's shortcomings. While
has caught up in some regards, it still looks and feels a bit unpolished by comparison. Additionally,
's vendor has never gotten UI right - not on their website, nor in their CMS. Craft remains easier to use, more polished and provides a wider feature set in its base install (without needing plugins). As for
- while I recognize its massive popularity, I find its reliance on themes, third-party plugins, along with security shortcomings, make it a poor fit for the larger custom projects we build. On the other hand, if you want to throw up a
website in a day, you can't beat

prior to Receptive but it was just too clunky and extensive for our needs. It was less about automation and still very manual work to process feedback. It also didn't provide collaboration levels that we needed for our internal teams to work together.
was a very clean tool but also didn't enable us to automate the process like Receptive does.

Increased collaboration within and between teams by providing more immediate insight into active design work. More enjoyable experiences while designing, because the tool set opens up new work flows that do not existing natively in any design software.
