I feel this is a great tool in terms of ease of use and user experience. The platform makes it easy to set up campaigns and report on performance. I feel targeting features can be more evolved outside of dynamic retargeting. But this is a great tool for certain verticals getting started.

- You are able to access to their data pool, to build audiences with just an email list (encrypted and hashed)
- Easy to use platform and easy way to analyze data from the dashboard. Everyone could manage the dashboard easily enough to surf through the data and understand the performance. Also you have the help of your account manager.
- The powerful algorithm drives good results for your company, without too much effort. And they are continuously improving with new features (design types, campaigns, platform, mobile / app products ...)
- Support for testing all of the integration of the events to check if data is well received. Google Chrome extension, testing mode inside the dashboard with error detection and also the help of your account manager + technical stuff.

- Tags and feed implementation : difficult and hard to understand for project and dev teams.
- The budget part is not clear, especially when the account manager does stuff on his own. It should be possible to change the budget from a period and not month to month.
- Now we have no information about the creative parts. It will be better to have a vision of which ad is working better than another and on which website.

- Reporting platform leaves a lot to be desired. Requires a lot of trial/error to pull exactly what you need to drive optimizations/learnings.
- The "stop"/"continue bidding" feature for sitelists, devices, player sizes, etc is awful. When you set something up specifically, you should not have the AUTOMATIC option to serve beyond those parameters.
- Trafficking video (VAST/VPAID) tags requires a manual insertion of a click URL. Completely redundant ask and is not provided by advertisers as that URL lives within the ad tag. Should not require multiple actions traffic a video tag.
- Creative approval process (manual) doesn't seem necessary and is not a part of peers' platforms. There is no "pause/deactivate" feature for creative, you remove them or adjust the end date.

Criteo's platform is very easy to use from a marketing standpoint if you understand key terms. The frontend is very user-friendly and I personally had no issues. I enjoy being able to see key results and metrics being tracked from the dashboard. It is also easy to filter things as desired to break down data.

It's very intuitive. We had some training materials, but found that users were able to navigate through the software without needing many resources. Our only suggestion would be to add hover-over capability in the browser, so users can see a pop-up message further explaining what each button does.

I think Marketing Solutions by Criteo offers a very robust solution for an ad tech platform and their support team is very knowledgeable about their product. I would like to see, though, more webinars and training about the technology behind the product to give us more tools to talk to our customers with more information and better visuals.

Criteo and AdRoll used to be neck and neck competitors, but Criteo has differentiated its offering by introducing user acquisition and app campaigns and continuously evolving its product while AdRoll got left behind.Compared to MoPub, Criteo's solutions are much more integrated and have more layers of data on their inventory to make sure the media bought on the platform can drive better results.

The Trade Desk is a much better product than AppNexus. Even though both products showed promise awhile back, AppNexus stopped innovating and The Trade Desk became specialists on data, cross site tracking and CTV inventory thus having a better and more unique product that actually adds value to your advertising efforts.

- The good thing about having an agency account is The Trade Desk lets you add your markups to the client billing.
- We had a very positive response from clients regarding their perceived ROI on their ad spend through The Trade Desk.
- We did not have many national clients, mostly local dealerships, so it was difficult for them to allocate a lot of funds to display advertising, even though the ROI yield was acceptable.
