In some cases, it would not capture all coverage, for example, coverage found on trade websites.
Some of the incoming coverage would be repetitive or even delayed at times.

We have mainly focused on Cvent products. They are the leader in their industry and their products are top-notch. We knew we wanted to add more Cvent software to our portfolio so they are all we chose to consider this time around. We are very pleased with our decision.

In 2016, I did an evaluation of other news distribution websites to see how they compared. While Marketwired has its flaws with customer service and a less-than-ideal online platform, it was far more cost-effective than the competitors. A lot of the competitors were more expensive and they also used cumbersome online platforms for distribution. Marketwired also doesn't charge for each image distributed with a release; many competitors do. After my evaluation, I decided to stick with Marketwired as the main wire our PR firm uses for distributing news

Positive: We get a handful of contacts and leads from our press releases, but overall nothing else. Our clients like the to see press releases of our events that reach out to a wider net of the online audience too.
