Likelihood to Recommend It is well suited in org where password protection is mandatory. Most companies need it hence as the service you're providing needs to have a secure vault and this is where dashlane comes in picture. Also great as a authenticator app. Even has VPN for those that need. It is less suited for personal projects.
Read full review Easy to implement and support. Flexible platforms and user-friendly interface. Not a lot of customization is available to customers and response time of support could be better. There are now competing products that utilize new features like facial recognition. Using camera and fingerprint sensors are becoming standard in smartphones so RSA SecureID should offer those as options.
Read full review Pros Their Secure Notes are an easy and great way to save and protect important data and notes not specifically password-related. I really like their Payments feature. I've used that at my desk and when traveling to fill-in payment information on the fly. I've recently begun using Dashlane with PassKeys and found the process to be simple and intuitive to use. Read full review RSA Authentication Manager is easy to deploy and configure. It is a scalable solution meant for a large enterprise. Some of the key features of RSA Authentication Manager where it particularly does well are provisioning, mapping, and logging. It has a very nice console with good administrative and troubleshooting options. Reliable security for VPN, applications, and wifi. Read full review Cons Some of our language and explanations could be simpler. Most users are not security professionals, they just want to get into applications and do their jobs. Guidelines for diagnosing and fixing problems can always be clearer and better targeted toward laypeople. Sometimes we need to change a user's email address (like if they change their name). Changing email addresses is very hard if not impossible. It appears to be impossible once it's set in the account. Andrew Bank CEO - Strategy, Product Management, and Business Development
Read full review Slow to provide updates to latest operating system versions. While the GUI is clean and easy to use, it does look very dated. There is not an option for a temporary code to log in. It would be nice for situations where you are at a remote site but don't have your device (laptop, phone, etc.) with you, as well as other situations. Read full review Long story short, does the job. Can use company credentials to setup and access the account for SecurID. Easy to setup and implement. Doesn't have a high learning curve.
Read full review Usability We previously used
LastPass , which was also an excellent alternative for Dashlane. Dashlane seems to have more security features compare to
LastPass . We can send pass to any user in our organization easily also we can share details with our clients. we can securely manage all the pass in our vault and timely change it when it's time comes.
Read full review Using it very frequently, it's important that its straight forward and I do not have to go through unnecessary hoops to achieve something seemingly simple. Can setup using the company credentials and do not have to setup up a separate account. Setup was fast and easy. GUI is very straight forward and quick.
Read full review Support Rating We've had no issues with Dashlane. I can't speak to their customer service because I have not personally needed to contact them. I guess that speaks about their product if we've not had any issues to reach out about. Great for supporting data/information on multiple platforms that are shared among team members.
Read full review Their support for onboarding and set-up is quite good. The only issues we tend to have are obtaining new user devices. These need to be planned ahead of time.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Dashlane loses against
1Password in almost every way. The only aspect that is better for Dashlane is the ability to share with your organization as it will pre-populate a list of users.
I didn't select Dashlane, it was selected for me. If it was up to me, I would choose
1Password over Dashlane all the time.
Read full review Overall MS AAD is good but we have had a few too many reliability issues with the product that have lead to enterprise authentication outages over the last year. The Senior executives have a preference on Securid to be more reliable than MS AAD. SecurID does a better job in Integration for legacy on-premise applications for instance.
Read full review Return on Investment Productivity has never been a concern since we have used products like Dashlane in the past, but the security features provide great peace of mind. Far less time has been spent on credential management It is easy to share new account password and credentials with others with the organization Read full review Implementing RSA SecurID has allowed us to help our clients understand we are committed to compliance.
