The single most used component in our Task Factory toolbelt is the Upsert component. The time this component has saved our developers alone paid for the product in the first few months. If you've ever attempted to use the native SSIS components to do upserts, or gone the route of writing your own upsert/merge statements, you'll appreciate this component. Another component that helps in the debugging stage is the Terminator Destination component. This component allows you to test your source inside a Data Flow without the need to having a destination.We have had our challenges with the Salesforce connection. It does not seem to process as efficiently as we'd like.

The Slowly Changing Dimension Component saves us a huge amount if time compared to the native SSIS component.
JSON Transform is really useful to convert record and send it to rest API.
The advanced derived columns allow us to use really cool functions that are not available in the regular transforms.

Cons

It creates more overhead for every insertion of data into a table in the database.
This driver is not supported for Android OS and many other Operation System

When Microsoft upgraded our Dynamics 365 install from version 8 to 9, we delayed the upgrade for several months. Once we moved our dev platform to version 9, Task Factory stopped working. After we pushed every delay we reasonably could in prod, Task Factory had still not been updated to work with version 9 of Dynamics 365. In the interim we tried another product that had already been updated in lockstep with Microsoft. The Task Factory folks seemed to indicate that they knew about the problems when we called, and sent us a hotfix eventually after two or three months. However, the delay convinced us to go to another product.
Weird or incorrect metadata in Dynamics 365 caused problems with the SSIS job whenever field changes were made in Dynamics 365. While this might not be the fault of Task Factory per se, our replacement product doesn't have this issue.

Task Factory has become a key product for our use of doing ETL work in SSIS. Their custom SSIS components allow us to work simply on the data engineering side of things. We can ignore the lower level work needed to connect to disparate data sources. This allows us to work faster and provide more value to the business

ZappySys is an alternative provider that we tested. However, we found the ease of use, set up and installation to be much simplier and quicker using Task Factory. ZappySys has a number of the same connectors but are more difficult to setup and the GUI is not as intuitive and simple to use.

We were able to support our developers with Task Factory features and reduce the development time by 40%.
Recently Task Factory has changed their pricing module and it seems to be pretty costly for our process. Our business team has started to evaluate whether this is worth it going forward.
