M‑Files just came first. Looks like DocuWare is a better tool for collaboration and M-files is a better tool for archiving, but at the end the better tool is the one that can be confidently used
From a capabilities perspective they are very similar, however the pricing framework and the ease of deployment really differentiates the two platforms. Also, M-Files can be deployed within Toshiba's cloud environment making it very attractive from a revenue/margin perspective.
