I love LeadIQ how you can import a lot of contacts quickly into your sales enablement tool. The workflow is effortless and quick there. However, the data is often incorrect, and sometimes the contacts do not import well into the sales enablement tool.

Pros

Drift

  • Chatbot builder. The new builder Drift recently came out with is very user-friendly and intuitive.
  • Integrations. We integrate Drift with Salesforce and Hubspot. After a lot of testing and mini failures, we finally figured it out and everything works seamlessly.
  • Content. Drift's marketing is the best out there, and I always draw inspiration from their "human" approach to our marketing content. As a customer, I am kept up to date on product releases as well as industry leader knowledge reports to keep our company's marketing relevant, helpful, and engaging.

  • Once set up, it's super easy. Just click a button and capture the lead.
  • Love that you can capture as a contact instead of a lead and that it will attach to an existing account in Salesforce based on a fuzzy match with Company Name.
  • Love that you can capture data from a lead search list in Sales Navigator, not just from the person's profile page. So you can capture multiple people at a time.
  • I really like that I can see all the related objects that a given contact might have in SFDC. Lead and/or contact records (even with a company mismatch if it's an old record), accounts, and opportunities.

  • The all vertical work flow is tough to visualize at times. It gets a bit messy.
  • Getting a fair distribution of leads to all of the reps has been a struggle.
  • It can be tough to test in a timely matter.

  • Configuring and setting up is a bit of a pain. It's confusing.
  • The data confidence doesn't seem to be quite as great as the other tools I've used. We seem to get more bounces on "verified" email addresses than before.
  • I wish there were more options for global settings. Instead, I have to get all of our users to go through all the same setup steps.
  • The actual platform itself (that you sign into on their site) is clunky and weird. I like the idea of saving all of the contacts you've tried to capture in one place so you can go back and import them again if an issue happens. But the methodology in which it's done is just weird and doesn't make a lot of sense. Also calling it "campaigns" is just confusing because it messes with normal jargon and terminology. Better to just call it a "list".

We have had no issues with it up to this point, and the few times I've called in to get questions answered, it has been handled efficiently and appropriately. No question has gone unanswered, and we've been made happy in all instances. Having direct access to a support and knowledgebase portal is also very helpful, as most user issues can be resolved there.

Drift

Like I mentioned earlier, looking at Drift's UI and how it handles chat requests, it may not fare well as a dedicated support-chat system like Intercom and Zopim. Of course, their value prop is conversational marketing and lead gen through automatic bot workflows. They're trying to do too many things - like Email Sequences and Account Based Marketing for example. It would be great to see data in 12 months on how that experiment of theirs is helping the customers.

We use Winmo and it is great but LeadIQ allows us to supplement those lists. It is especially useful if someone has recently changed jobs to be able to target them before they are added to the larger databases. It's more of a 1:1 prospecting tool as opposed to a mass list.

  • Drift has increased customer satisfaction with our services since it enabled real-time support and communication with them.
  • Drift has allowed us to spend less time supporting users or replying to user questions, and spend more time on critical business issues, while maintaining the same level of support for our customers.

  • The positive impact is that it provides a good amount of phone numbers for the reps to call on. They wouldn't be able to find them otherwise.
  • The negative is when the numbers are incorrect, it provides a bad customer experience.
