Likelihood to Recommend Jobboss2 helps with creating routings, tracking hours towards those, and tracking inventory for discrete orders. It does not work well for blanket orders, consignment, or long-term agreements-type contracts with customers. Raw material tracking is completely ineffective with Jobboss2. Costing is quite ineffective with Joboss2. Production/lot planning & scheduling is ineffective and is a huge limiting factor. All of these items require manual tracking in spreadsheets. Jobboss2 has helped us get away from tracking routings with pen and paper and timesheets with pen and paper... but we're still having to use Excel to track consignment, blanket orders, job planning/when to launch new travelers, and costing/quoting. Going from pen and paper routings to digital has been a huge help overall, but the other limitations are incredibly concerning, which has led us to research & possibly switch

The price-quality ratio is excellent, even though Odoo has become very competitive. The time to implementation is also great, if not one of the best. Excellent billing and service desk apps It is not the best solution if you are looking into a collaboration-focused software suite.
Read full review Pros Estimating is great once you learn how to use it, and it makes repeat estimates easier than ever. Time tracking is amazing for us. It has taken some time to figure out exactly how we want to use the tracking parts, but it's only because it has multiple ways to do the same thing and finding out what works best for us took some time. We don't have many complaints or issues with the software that are not solved. Support for the product has been improving and that is important for long term success. The cloud application is continually being developed and updated. New abilities are being added to assist with the customers that have strict requirements things like governance items
Read full review Usability It is extremely easy to learn and use E2 Shop System. It provides everything a manufacturing company might be looking for, starting from entering a new PO to shipping parts. Routers that get created from E2 Shop System also help track parts on the shop floor and is accessible from every where. E2 Shop System also now has an app, which is great when it comes to scanning router steps directly from your phone.
Read full review While the software is easy to use and pick up, the different user interfaces and limits across the application make it difficult and slow to implement additional applications quickly and seamlessly across the organization. If the User interface was more consistent we would be able to pick up and train on new apps more efficiently

Read full review Support Rating The initial training leaves a little to be desired because it's done by people who know the generalities of the system. However, once you get into one-on-one trainings and tech support calls, they do a tremendous job in these aspects. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need.
Read full review Support is great as a customer, as a partner I get moved to that team more often and find issues in the support being provided. It also appears that the support agents do not take into account all the information provided and default back to the "step 1 of the playbook" instead of taking into account the business reason the support is being requested and understanding the steps already taken.

Read full review Alternatives Considered JobBoss was chosen over the competitors for the ease of use, the support that is available, and the price point. The flow of JobBoss's sofftware is easily followed. The support that is available when needed- we took full advantage of the one-on-one consulting time that was available. The Software is very economical for the value that is provides.

Odoo . At that time, the enterprise version of
Odoo was not competitive enough for a small company with minor integration needs when it comes to the pricing per user. Nowadays, pricing is almost equal. The effort of integration processes with
Odoo is still higher even though it delivers more potential. A decision between both today would be more difficult for us.

Read full review Return on Investment We have seen improved visibility of our jobs and on how we quote our products to our customers. It is nice to be able to see what is running on each station, who is running it and what part of the process the job is currently at. I also like the Data Collection module as I can see in real time what all the employees are currently doing.
