It's great if you can mostly trust your users to want you to be able to remote into their computers. Our users rarely remove the app, but that would be a serious problem if you were trying to use this program to enforce control over the PCs. It does not offer reporting on the PCs in any way. If you just need a cheap, great, bare-bones remote desktop tool that works great on only PCs, then it's a no-brainer. I love this tool. If you have to support mobile, Apple, or Linux devices, this program would not help you out at all.

Splashtop Business Access

Splashtop is great for users that want remote access, but the company doesn't necessarily have the infrastructure in place for virtual remote environments. It's more secure then using VPN and allows employees to leverage their own devices to access the network. We found the experience to be very fast while working remotely. Splashtop must be installed on the device you wish to use to access the remote computer, so an impromptu session via a web interface isn't an option. This is a bigger issue if you are away at a hotel business center and can't install the software because you do not have administrator rights and the hotel doesn't allow you to install software

Splashtop Business Access

  • Remote desktop - Obviously this would be the whole reason for Splashtop but for some reason, it works better than others we have used in the past.
  • File transfer is really nice and it actually works the way it is supposed to.
  • SOS function is great because it allows for us to easily access machines that normally we could not unless a full client is installed.

Great product for the price. I would buy it again. We now have 6 licenses of it and it's completely worth the investment.

It's hard to find any significant faults with Splashtop. It offers a very responsive remote access experience with clear and simple interface. There's very little learning curve as it's toolbar mimics other popular remote access solutions graphical user interface. It's gives you access to your remote computer quickly and stays out of your way

It is all just done through email so there is no tracking of tickets but there is not much need since they will respond multiple times a day if needed. I never have any issue with them though. They are very well trained.

Fortunately, I haven't had the need to use Splashtop support very often, but when I have, they have been responsive. The only time I contacted them was in regards to the screen-blanking issue. They responded quickly to my email and offered a workaround until they were able to resolved the issue.

I used LogMeIn and later I search for others alternatives. Searching on internet I found Splashtop, the price sound amazing for me so I starting with the trial version, after testing I see that was easy and accomplish the goal that we were looking for I was even more interesting. In many cases, I used it from my mobile, so I try to use it but I couldn't, the application has a bug. I send an email and explain to them that I am a potential customer but I cannot test the mobile version - they ask me some information about my mobile and the next day they sent me an email that updates the app from the play store. And it works, they fixed it. So the compromise that they have and their great support was the final step to take the decision. And we have 4 happy years with them without any claim.

Splashtop Business Access

  • Lowers Cost of remote access
  • Provides remote screen sharing where we would otherwise not have that capability deployed for seldomly used systems or occasional access systems
  • Saves on travel and commuting time and costs
  • Redundant remote access on some systems whom require a third party for remote access
