NICE Satmetrix
Score 8.0 out of 10
N/A
Satmetrix is survey-based customer experience management software. It contains summary and individual customer data for tracking the customer lifecycle. Individual features are net promoter scoring (NPS) surveying, automated triggers and alerts when indicants of poor customer experience or lack of engagement are present, text analytics for summarizing and understanding customer sentiment through what they say, and more. Satmetrix was acquired by NICE Systems in July 2017.
FormAssembly has been an essential tool to have in our back pocket. It's best when you need a form quickly and can compromise on some of the dynamic elements that would be possible in Visualforce. It serves a particularly critical need when skilled developers are at a premium, but clever admins are available.
Satmetrix is best suited if you don't currently use Salesforce. A lot of its main selling points are negated by the virtue of having Salesforce. Case management is in Salesforce, reporting is in Salesforce, the structure that NPX imposes is actually clunky and unwieldy, and is much more streamlined on competing platforms such as GetFeedback and SurveyMonkey. The only thing that leaves is the consultative service on being best practice and I don't really get to see any of that.
SalesForce integration is really nice. You can map to specific fields with form values, or you can use detailed formulas. You can also choose to bypass assignment rules on a per-form basis, and create customized logic for when cases are created, when leads are created/merged, etc. It's very robust.
Form creation in general is very simple. They've gotten good over the years of creating an intuitive, drag and drop interface that's quick to edit. I like that you can also assign values to fields so conditional form building gets easy.
I like that you can customize how responses are viewed in the response window. Choose what columns show up so you can find records with ease, and with just one glance. OR you can download everything to excel in a snap too.
One major point for us is our migration to a completely Microsoft infrastructure. IN addition to that, the afore mentioned need to ingest external data resources means that we do have our eyes open toward the landscape so that we can fill these needs. This in no way indicates a move away from FormAssembly: their support is first rate, and so far the product has always stood up to the tests we've put it through.
The previous experience was so negative that even if they have improved since then it wouldn't help. Another more pertinent reason is because we have an existing 3 year contract with Medallia. Lastly, vendor transitions in our environment (B2B in 132 countries) is extremely painful. I've managed two of them and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
While it's not a true development package and misses some features like ingestion of external data for lists, etc... the product is fast, stable, easy to use, and will suit the needs of anyone needing online form functionality with SalesForce and other connectors available for your marketing needs.
The big differentiator for me with FormAssembly has always been the Salesforce integration. I have yet to find an alternative form builder that makes building integrations with Salesforce any easier than FormAssembly. I like the look and feel of Typeform forms better than FormAssembly, but I would prefer to have the integration than the fancy form. Zapier's integration has always been confusing to me.
I haven't evaluated any other products. Our executive team selected NPS as the preferred measurement of customer sentiment and Satmetrix is the only certification company I am aware of.
FormAssembly allows staff to gather better data and not have to do so much manual entry. This allows staff to focus their energies on other mission critical items.
FormAssembly helps to improve data quality by reducing duplicates and enforcing data quality.
