Likelihood to Recommend

Ginger

I highly recommend Ginger for anyone who writes and publishes articles on a daily basis. It is very helpful and better than any other grammar checkers available on the market. Ginger is also very good for international students because it helps them to improve their writings and grammar while they are studying here in the USA.

Cons

Ginger

  • Ginger should allow users to use the Microsoft option for filling in a missing character, rather than insisting I must use its provision over another.
  • The prompt to go premium should either be removed or just kept at the edge of the computer screen so that it does not become troublesome. Once people feel uncomfortable with the constant pop-ups, they will just uninstall and forget about it.
  • Sometimes it is confusing to know where to click when returning the edited content after using Ginger editor platform on-demand. It would help to make the button look bold and a fancy color to attract users easily.

Even if it's a small program, it uses a fair amount of memory resources.

I haven't experienced working with Ginger's support. The platform is straightforward and didn't require any support.

Alternatives Considered

Ginger

I have used Grammarly as well, and though it does have a native platform for Mac, which Ginger does not, this platform has been better for me personally, as it is less intrusive than Grammarly. Ginger lets you select what you'd like checked and then go from there. I like this for my students as well, as they are forced to think about their work.

Return on Investment

Ginger

  • High Productivity: When it was person-based content monitoring, we always had one or two words that could have been changed to improve content quality. But now, Ginger persuasive assistance is really helping our editorial team to maintain time, keep their work neat and typo or error-free.
  • On-demand Response and Time management: In the recent years and following the high demand of client queries to be answered at the shortest time and also regarding email communication as the most corporate appropriate approach, the crafting of these emails requires timely and effective assistance. Ginger has always been doing this best. This gives us a good strategic value in our B2C platform and editorial responses.
  • Employee Development: Ginger is like a personal lecturer and when you find this product in regions like ours (Asia) it is really helpful to improve the employee's grammatical ability by helping them to get used to the right words. When our colleagues (Editors) started using this product, it actually helped to improve their productivity and also their personal communication abilities.
