Likelihood to Recommend Kudos is especially useful and helpful during project deployment where team members can be awarded kudos and appreciation and motivation for their team efforts in meeting milestones and targets. In some instances, the reward types or gifts may seem irrelevant to some departments in certain regions or my company' operations in other parts of the African continent.
Read full review Glint is a really user friendly and visually appealing platform for survey recipients. They also have a great support team, who are helpful in answering our questions. Areas where Glint can improve is more on the admin side. If you only need to run your surveys a few times a year (which is what we do with our 360 & employee engagement surveys), it’s not going to be bad at all. For our exit interview process, we run them for every leaver and are running into difficulties with how to streamline how to upload the data in an efficient and non-time consuming way. I also think data reporting can be better & more user friendly.
Read full review Pros One of the most useful aspects of this tool is that it allows you to save the profile of each of the employees individually and to be able to track their activities and give them the recognition they deserve. Another useful feature of "kudos is that the system allows you to assign badges to each profile based on their job performance. I also really like that the platform has a dedicated portal for employees. In which they can see their badges, recognitions and awards obtained for their efforts. Read full review Great way to create and send surveys. Easy to fill out when expecting 100s of responses. Effective at collating response for management teams to review. Ability to complete on mobile devices. Read full review Cons Rewards take a long time to be given out, but this I would put on the company's policy. From my own perspective on a mobile phone, it's not so smooth like on desktop, like searching for a colleagues name sometimes is difficult. Sometimes email notifications take too long to come, or they don't even come at all. Read full review The commenting process could be improved--sometimes a survey will skip ahead when you aren't ready to proceed Read full review Usability INCREDIBLY easy for the end-user. The only questions we had were around confidentiality/anonymity. We tried to further address these with other surveys by calling out and explaining how Glint worked. As an admin, it is also quite simple and easy to find answers when you don't have them.
Read full review Support Rating The technical support has been on point from implementation through to when we were running on our own with our surveys. It's great to have People Science support but we did find that oftentimes we knew our organization better and should be speaking to leadership about these results instead of PS. It was great to throw lines out to them for trends, especially when it came to Covid, Return to Office, and Diversity.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I used to work at a company called Sparc that developed its own in-house platform called Teamphoria. It was great software that coupled a lot of the same features as workday but also with a recognition system. Essentially it allocated certain types of recognition levels per month, 1 platinum, 5 gold, 20 silvers, where each was worth a drawing ticket. At the end of the month, someone would be drawn from that pool based on their received recognition and then receive a gift card. However, some abused this system and devalued its purpose and inflated the meaning behind it. Kudos seems to do a good job by having a direct point/monetization system which isn't up for random chance. This can help even incentivize employees to go above and beyond, getting them to work harder since they are receiving recognition for it.
Read full review The only comparable product I've used is Rypple, which I'm not sure still exists. Glint is a superior product in pretty much every way I can remember, from the employee survey experience to the output reports.
Read full review Return on Investment Incentivizes employee to work harder. Helps with thanking our employees for jobs well done without having just a normal "Thank You." Allows the employees to use kudos for company SWAG or items they may need in their lives and it's all possible to get thanks to KUDOS. Read full review Feeling more involved in company decisions. Getting feedback to management on critical problems. Having a place to vent in anonymity. Read full review ScreenShots
