InsideSales Playbooks (formerly XANT Playbooks) aims to help SDRs and AEs quickly build closeable pipeline, by helping salespeople get a hold of more of the right people. InsideSales.com uses their A.I.-platform called Neuralytics to target likely buyers combined with their cadence engine to help sales reps consistently engage all of their prospects in a personalized way. Just like Waze from Google helps drivers get to their destination quickly based on the data from other drivers,…
I think in any sales scenario, as you can learn multiple things from the tool, whether for the sales representatives or the managers themselves. It brings to light a lot of discussions that most other team members were not aware of prior to being able to leverage Gong. It now enables you to listen to colleagues calls, who are successful and learn from your own team. Only place where it may not be appropriate would be for non-performance related roles.
It is well suited for any sales department, to try to get ahold of the person you are trying to get ahold of. Playbooks has increased the number of decision makers that I can get ahold of on a day to day basis. This tool would probably be less suited for people that do not have calls to make outside of the company.
Call recording: you can see a transcript and also set-up trackers for keywords like competitor names being mentioned.
Active conversations in accounts: I get email reports on all active conversations that have happened with Gong so I can see across the Global team what meetings the team are having and make sure we are coordinated on large strategic accounts.
Call sharing/collaboration: the native integration with Slack means I can tag and talk to my team about calls via slack messages, and then the conversation will still appear in Gong and vice versa. This helps my team receive feedback where they are working and removes the need to check Gong to see if there is feedback there. This helps reduce tech fatigue.
The ability to filter specific plays or pieces of information so that it's more user-friendly for the overall organization. Essentially, more room to customize the organization of accounts and how you're working them.
The initial onboarding process of accounts results in high levels of tasks - the ability to break these down in an easier way to help with time management would be helpful.
When evaluating the usability of Gong.io or any other product, it might be helpful to consider factors such as Ease of use: Is the product easy to understand and navigate, with a clear and intuitive user interface? Efficiency: Can users accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently, without having to spend a lot of time learning how to use the product or struggling with its interface?Learnability: Is it easy for new users to learn how to use the product, or does it require a steep learning curve? Error prevention and recovery: Does the product have features in place to help prevent errors, and if errors do occur, is it easy for users to recover and continue working? Overall, the usability of Gong.io or any other product will depend on a variety of factors and can vary from one user to another. It's important for organizations to carefully consider the usability of any tool they are considering implementing, as it can have a significant impact on its effectiveness and adoption by users.
It only took a day to get comfortable with Playbooks. The ease of use and overall usability is fantastic in the sense that it's pretty straightforward once you get enough repetitions in the tool. I also like all of the videos and resources available if support is needed
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
The Gong video library is much easier to navigate. I like that everything is saved in one place that I can navigate instead of separate video files that I have to download. I also think it's really cool that our whole company can access and watch each other's meetings and videos. I sometimes watch videos of customer calls with the sales team when an account is being passed to me to get a better idea of what they've already discussed with our teams, and I'll watch calls where coworkers have discussed similar topics to what I'm working on to train myself on different subject areas. I enjoy how Gong promotes greater transparency within the company and greater collaboration between teams as a result.
The Insidesales Playbooks is by far more intuitive and organized than other programs I have used in the past. Unfortunately I have not had experience with other products that are available out there. I would hope we will see more improvements from the ISDC tool as we all use it more and provide feedback
