Any team that has a direct relationship with a client via a phone or a video call would benefit from Gong. I've worked on sales in the past and these tools are the dream of every leader. I can't think of a better way to get actual material from our performance to give us a better chance to detect areas of improvement and hone our skillset before our next call. Even it's super fast. In merely a few minutes after the call you receive an email telling you that the recording is already ready for us to exploit it

  • Zoominfo has huge database. Intent is one of the favorite section where we get the exact info about the companies/industries which we want
  • Zoominfo Connects with Hubspot which is another benefit for us to add any specific contact directly to our HubSpot app.

With the combined resources of crowdsorced info on both data.com as well as the immediacy of info on LinkedIn, as well as intel on Hoovers, information provided on ZoomInfo is more readily available if you have the time to invest in looking for it. However, at the pace we do business, having a "one stop shop" for information is very convenient. On efficiency alone, ZoomInfo is worth the price of subscription considering our business model.

We used to use Zoom recordings but they don't compare, we also had to spend a ton on extra storage while Gong is unlimited. In my opinion, Zoom/etc. provides no insights, no ability to score calls, no collaboration, poor sharing, etc.

The size of data base, the bounce rate and accuracy. The extra features that you can have and the customer service. Whenever I have a question or help with something, my account manager is always available to help. And most importantly, the difference was the price. Although Zoominfo is not cheapest, it is the best value for your money.

  • Improved presentation and conversation skills, based on manager feedback and individual assessment
  • Improved patience (must fewer instances of interrupting customers thanks to Gong)
  • Customers are more confident in their decisions (when they can rewatch demos)
  • Better alignment with customers, since we can be truly present on the call then listen to the recording later instead of taking notes in real-time

  • Negative - In my experience, exports error but credits deduct. Trying to get these credits back, good luck getting a customer service rep to assist.
  • Negative - In my experience, information provided for 0-5 employee companies inaccurate
  • Negative - In my opinion, due to not being able to get the information and not honoring their guarantee, no revenue goals were met.
  • Negative - I feel, for this size prospect, there is no time savings. You will still need to manually research the company on other sites or by cold calling to get the missing information.
