Google Gemini does pretty well against ChatGPT in regards to the information sourced and accuracy. Gemini's user interface is about the same, however I find it a bit cleaner, especially the way information is outputted. We use a lot of the Google Suite products, so access to …
I like the fact that Gemini gives you 3 options of possible answers, and if they don't fit your needs, you are able to have other 3, until you get the best result. I have seen that the results that Gemini provides are more accurate than others. It also evolving frequently and …
I love Bing Copilot because it is integrated to Bing, I can have the answers easily using my phone or my laptop. The answers show the links just in case one needs to have further information about a topic, and somehow the tool feels friendlier than the other tools such as Google…
Places where it works well.1. On demand prompt answering regarding general tech questions that you would have found answers to on google. 2. Summarizing docs.3. Finding easy bugfixes in code or fixing some easy runtime/compile time errors Places where it is less appropriate: 1. Where we need integration across multiple files , i.e if you want to reference multiple code files and then generate code. 2. If we want to do heavy-duty AI based image generation.
While Copilot isn’t perfect, I find it very beneficial for my work. For example, although I wish the email reply feature were more refined, it does help me get started. The seamless integration between Copilot and all my Microsoft 365 apps is a huge plus. Additionally, having Microsoft Copilot during Teams meetings has been a valuable asset. Overall, it significantly increases my productivity.
Copilot is excellent at formulating responses to emails that I receive from authors and customers.
Copilot is extremely useful while working on Excel. You don't need to remember formulas in Excel. Just write a prompt and tell Copilot what you want to do with the data, and it will give you the exact formula to use.
Copilot is also great at editing any content I need to review. All I have to do is copy paste the content in the prompt bar and ask copilot to check for grammatical errors in the content and gives an immediate response highlighting all the errors.
AI isn't perfect with any system, and can sometimes pick up elements that aren't quite related to the topic
The information sometimes is incorrect - which is why you always have to check the source of where AI got the information from. At the bottom of the page, Google literally says "Gemini can make mistakes, so double-check it" for a reason.
It can show pictures, but the algorithm isn't completely spot on.
I appreciate most of what Copilot offers so far. However, I wish Copilot Studio provided more functionality. Currently, I find it easier to create a custom GPT in ChatGPT. When trying to generate the same automated process, ChatGPT feels more intuitive. That said, because ChatGPT doesn’t integrate with my Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot has an advantage. I believe it will continue to improve.
Since we use Microsoft 365 apps in our day-to-day work, we didn't have to choose Copilot over any other AI. It just came with the subscription. However, I would still use it over ChatGPT because Copilot is integrated with all the major Microsoft apps that we use. We dont need to log into a separate AI over a browser. I also think our company data is far more secure while we use Copilot
