Fantastic for smaller businesses as they begin to establish their brand prominence, create a thoughtful communications cadence with their community, and distribute relevant content for marketing and sales purposes. It is so easy to adopt and use. And it provides much of the functionality the larger providers (e.g. HubSpot) without the noise and distractions.

Pros

  • Very easy to learn and use. Navigation is intuitive.
  • Scoring feature is customizable and covers all the basics: email opens and click-thrus, web visits, form submits.
  • Customer service is fast and helpful; your questions are treated with urgency because they know you're probably on a deadline.
  • Pricing is very fair for all you get in a subscription.

Cons

  • No phone app yet.
  • API is only 1 way (into Hatchbuck).
  • No Boolean logic to filter on (although this feature is allegedly coming).

It is super user friendly and we are getting the value we pay for it, although if I was more educated on certain features I am sure we would find greater value and perhaps expand our services and use with Hatchbuck

Hatchbuck offers on-boarding, training, and has a suite of videos, which makes it super easy to get started. As with any software that is the key. Have a plan, stay focused, and get started. Once, you begin to play with Hatchbuck you will see that it is very user friendly.

There has never been any downtime for Hatchbuck, which is very reassuring for me as I market and recruit strenuously for the University at Albany's executive Weekend MBA Program. Hatchbuck team members have also been available when I have reached out to them with questions or issues. With one exception, where one of my e-mails became lost in the Internet "black hole," they have gotten back to me in very timely fashion!

I used Constant Contact in the past. Hatchbuck has a much better CRM system and ways to track and segment customers
