In order to be successful in the implementation and progress of PerformanceManager, the organization needs to dedicate internal team members to be trained and communicate with the HealthcareSource team. While they are very supportive, it is essential to have that internal team working with employees and communicating inquires and questions back to HealthcareSource when needed.

Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment

The PI should be used to assess any candidate for any organization. I really believe that the software is that helpful. It's like having a mind reader / person analyzer that can tell you everything you need to know about somebody. Some candidates enjoy seeing their PI results and receive a lot of enjoyment from seeing how accurate it is

  • When any company implements a new program they have specific needs that they want customized for them. Healthcare source did a great job providing excellent customer service to our HR and IT professionals working behind the scenes to help us maximize the programs potential at our organization. They did not limit us to any standard uses or prohibit us from reaching our internal goals. Some examples include specialized reports, data uploads of employee data and time frames for our annual reviews.
  • They provided us with training and retraining and more training on using the system. This included training new members of our team when we had turnover in HR and inviting us to conferences and webcasts regularly.
  • The presentation of the software was very appealing and that may seem small but it really helps appeal to the employees that use it for their reviews.

  • Do you know what drives each individual in your company? The PI Behavioral Assessment provides this insight with details that are profoundly accurate and open up a very candid and genuine conversation for both the employer and the employee/candidate.
  • Do you know where their strengths are? The PI Behavioral Assessment will show you; for those employees/candidates that find it hard to express themselves, this is a true benefit.
  • Do you know whether they are truly fulfilled in their role? The PI Behavioral Assessment facilitates open and candid communications; as you enter into a conversation about what the employee/candidate "truly" wants to be doing, positive decisions can be made that generate improvements the entire company experiences.

HealthcareSource Performance Manager

  • The communication between our HR IS system and their platform was cumbersome, this is always a tough spot to work with when trying to get two systems to communicate without having to rework the data. We did reach a point of success and it was due to the work on both sides.
  • I would have liked to have seen the way other healthcare organizations used the system.
  • It took a long time to get a chance to meet some of the team members from HealthcareSource due to our locations and once we did have a face to face meeting I felt much more connected with the team.

  • Recent improvements and content available via Catalyst has addressed the majority of what I would've previously said was "missing."
  • Better partnership and resources offered from the partners that "sell" PI services. Our local partnership is non-existent and we are continually under impressed with them.

Looking back we can say that every year we used Performance Manager and other products too like HeathcareSource's Compensation and Position Manager we saw the ease of use for employees and HR staff members increase, we saw employees getting more comfortable with the product and HR Staff getting better at expressing their needs to the HealthcareSource team and this made us want to stay with the same company, when things are getting better each year we know we are in the right place.

As with anything, there are always ways that the product can get better and continue to grow in its offerings and support. However, my team has been very impressed with the ease of use of the system. Our managers have their own log ins and there is no tutorial needed to explain how to use the website

I have seem other products such as Success Factors and Softscape, we went with HealthcareSource because we really like PerformanceManager but also because we planned to expand our use of their products for other areas of the talent management spectrum and eventually started using their Compensation and Position Manager products too.

We use multiple assessments for a variety of reasons. This one is the most versatile that we have. Others we use either for individual development or team development, but PI is the only one we use for Recruiting, individual development and team development.

  • We found a connection between performance appraisals and employee engagement, this allowed our organization to focus in on areas we needed more resources for employees (i.e. providing employees with their job description so they know what is expected of them before their first day on of employment).
  • Performance Manager was an outlet we used to increase communication between employees and their supervisors and communication is key to a successful organization.
  • By using the data over the years we will be able to see how Performance Manager has decreased our employee turnover.

  • We have increased our ability to hire employees with a better ability to perform the jobs for which they are hired.
  • It has helped us develop a better methodology to discuss talent and succession planning.
  • At times we get into negatively loaded discussions, when managers see a different pattern than they wanted. It takes effort to align expectations.
