    I have loved when different teams come to People Ops asking if Hibob can do something or if something can be added to it. Often, our answer is "yes"! We love how flexible Hibob is and now that we understand the logic of the system, we are confident in adding different flows and tasks to suit our needs. As a rapidly growing and changing company, it is necessary that we are able to make our own changes without needing to consult a Hibob team member. Of course, it is also very nice having our own Account Manager who can help us understand features better...but it's great that we don't HAVE to go to them every time we need to change something. For a team of just under 1,000, we have been able to successfully run Hibob with just a two person team. I do wish their Onboarding features were better as we could use all the help we can get there. I'd like to not have to use another system and it makes sense for an HRIS to have a robust Onboarding tool. I feel like Onboarding was just created as another flow/function in Hibob and hasn't been thought through completely. There are many opportunities to improve like being able to send to the personal email of an employee; sending login information directly through Hibob; and tracking new hires as they flow through Greenhouse.

    • Shout-out/Kudos/Poll on the home page is a real engagement tool if used regularly.
    • Performance evaluation module - expensive, but so flexible, customizable and fits every possible need.
    • Onboarding and offboarding workflows are upgraded and save lots of unnecessary administrative work.
    • They have wonderful support and customer care!

    • Does the remembering for me. Officevibe sends the surveys automatically on a scheduled sequence.
    • The surveys cover a wide range of topics. They help address where pain points could be lurking and where I need to try to help my team.
    • I like being able to see the trend in the reports. It helps me give an overall sense of the health of our employees feelings towards each other and the company.

    • Tasks - For something like onboarding, I wish there was a way to set up the tasks so that the person setting up the employee profile would be the only person to get the assigned tasks. It's hard to describe but for example, if there are multiple on-boarders on the team, is there a way to set up the tasks so that technically every on-boarder would be assigned to the task, but the person setting up the profile is the one that triggers the task for themselves.
    • Reports - I find pulling reports a bit complicated, especially if I am asked to pull data that involves info being located in different areas of an employee profile. For example, for a couple of months, I thought it was impossible to pull a variable pay report along with the base salary (in one report rather than pull two separate reports) only to find out that you can do that via the Total Compensation report. Also when I have to pull data for headcount since a certain day, I wish you can make the settings so that data can appear after a certain day, rather than sorting it manually via Excel/Google sheets.
    • Timesheet - I love the functionality of the timesheet that hibob provided, but I also wish they included an option where people can set up predicted work schedules for future dates. Currently, the timesheets are ideals for scenarios where employees time in and out of work.

      Hibob

      Namely did not have connected modules, so it was difficult to manage data across the different sites. They didn't have a large suite of API connections. Workday required technical experts to code and manage everything, is not user-friendly, and did not have historical data options available. BambooHR lacked technical options, it was a lot of manual work to make it look seamless to the employees. Paycor was awful - no smart fields, no retro calculations, the reports were terrible, and there was no point in time reporting. No API connections for any outside tools.

      I didn't try anything else - Officevibe came across my desk and I went with it. I'm not sure what other options there are out there, but I'm sure there are a few. It's probably worth giving them a look, but if you're looking to keep your finger on the pulse of your company culture and employee happiness / engagement, Officevibe is not a bad choice at all.

      • I used it to decide how best to allocate my resources for employee benefits and perks. I was able to find out which ones were truly important to them and which ones they didn't really care about so I knew which ones to spend my money on.
      • I've also been able to see whether I'm doing a good job as a manager and where I need to improve, whether it be in terms of management style, leadership, communication or even things like policy - I'm able to see what is working and what isn't and make adjustments accordingly.
