If you're looking for a platform to house and manage content for your sellers to leverage in presentations as well as in emails, Highspot is a great asset. It's a very intuitive platform that doesn't have a bunch of fluff to sort through to get to what you are looking for. The ability to create different homepages depending on which department a user is a part of is also a great feature. Our Sales team will log on and see the most important documents for them, and then our Marketing team can log in and see something completely different.

  • Outlook Plug-In is very easy to use and allows users to easily access Highspot content
  • Highspot provides instant feedback when an email is opened and data about the length of time the reader spent in the document.
  • Overall ease of use. Highspot is very easy to use and navigation is very intuitive.

  • Amazing integration capabilities with every other application out there. There will be no need to create external bridges to connect anything with SAP CRM since, it natively supports almost every application. We use it for ERP integrations as well.
  • Pull any type of reports with whatever data/format/time date range you want. This capability is also robust in SAP CRM, so it you need not spend hours creating reports manually. Reports can be pulled from the console itself.
  • Inbuilt modules are capable of almost any requirement. There are additional modules available as well, which can be installed on top of SAP CRM.
  • Customisability is also one of the great feature of this platform. Multiple variants can be created and saved for later use.

Highspot

  • Sometimes I cannot see what slides are in my deck during a live pitch, so I'm flying blind as I'm presenting. I know my content well so I can manage it, but it makes it hard when you have to jump from slide to slide instead of just straight through the presentation.

  • SAP CRM Mobility is not successful so it is important to improve on this. Things have gotten much better since SAP acquitted Cyclo which works very well. We would like to see Cyclo expanded beyond sales management and inventory management to handle some of the other capabilities that the SAP CRM Mobility offered. However, Cyclo has brought incredible progress in this area.

The main reason is ease of integration with other SAP systems (ECC, BW, etc...), but also SAP CRM provides functionality that hasn't evolved as much in other competing CRM systems (mainly Trade Promotion Management and Market Resource Management). Additionally, I'm excited about the direction that SAP is headed with putting their business suite on HANA (in-memory relational database management system) and creating a better user experience with SAP Fiori.

It also helps me provide value-added emails to my prospects with extreme ease. Without Highspot I would not have the current success that I have right now in sales.

The usability experience is great and I have nothing to complain about. Given the minimum technical requirements the tool works without delays, crashes and errors. At SAP CRM we have everything at our fingertips in a single tool for our business. As developer software I have a lot of relationships with customers and suppliers and the tool collaborates a lot on my journey.

I have not needed any customer support until now, I guess this is because they work on a proactive maintenance of the platform. We have an internal team working with Highspot so if I need help I go to my internal team not directly to Highspot. I have never heard any complaints.

SAP CRM's support is un-matchable. Whether it be official vendor support or support on online forums, you will find answer to any problem instantly. The vendor has a very customer centric support, and since this tool has a global footprint, you can expect a very good global support.

Highspot

Dropbox was sufficient for storing content in an easy to access space but, provided us no value beyond that. SharePoint actually made us less productive due to the amount of time our sales team had to spend searching for the right piece of content. Neither solution provided us any analytics as to what content was being used/engaged with.

Highspot provided us with intuitive content search and organization with the ability to tag keywords, search queries, and fine-tune categorization of all of our content. Highspot also provided us with direct feedback when our customer or prospective customers were viewing content which enabled us to follow-up at the perfect time and was directly attributed to several closed won opportunities. Their Outlook integration is the icing on the top as it allows our sales team to share content, access email templates, and link communication back to Salesforce without ever having to leave the email client. With these features combined Highspot has made me drastically more productive and efficient in my work.
