If you are working on brand management across multiple social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud, then it would be a great fit for the service's versatility. If you are only working on one platform, you will be better off just focusing on the utilization of the platform's ad service.

Sprinklr

Sprinklr is a great tool for any company desiring a consumer centric solution. From my experience, Sprinklr appears to be especially well suited for big global brands with large teams. Sprinklr does not seem to be cost effective for smaller businesses or teams, but I may be wrong. It could depend on how a company, of any size, utilizes it. If the tools solve problems and support a company's growth and goals, I can see how the investment could be justified

  • Works well with a broad range of social media networks (Google+ pages, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn corporate/groups/individuals, YouTube, Flickr, Vimeo, FourSquare, Instagram, Storify, ScoopIt, SurveyMonkey, etc.) so everything can be managed (and analyzed) in one place securely.
  • Customized analytic reports can be built for each client and scheduled for automatic distribution on a set schedule.
  • HootSuite University enables self-paced independent learning for new staff and clients.
  • "Template" posts/messages can be developed and saved for each social media team, which ensures quality for routine hiring/recruitment and customer service messages.
  • When monitoring/listening for certain topics, you can easily email or assign specific posts and comments directly to the responsible or interested party.

  • Reporting capabilities: Sprinklr's reporting tool is able to make any custom report that you can imagine. The reporting tool takes some getting used to if you're not a data scientist, but once you get the hang of it, it's one of the best I've seen in terms of breadth.
  • Listening and monitoring capabilities: Sprinklr is one of the best social media management tools for listening that I've come across. With customizable dashboards, you're able to create streams for just about anything. With Sprinklr, you can keep tabs on your dissenters and respond to them in an efficient manner.
  • Content management: Sprinklr allows users to import collateral into the system, making it easy to reuse content. We would upload the photos we used and tag them in a way that we could search for them later. This made it incredibly easy to find old content right in the tool.

I really do feel that Sprinklr is the most complete enterprise social media program. It covers everything you would need to do to run a strategic social media program. On top of that, the success managers are really the best. Our success manager goes above and beyond for us and has been so helpful to us with setting up some very specific repots and profiles. Paul (our CSM) has been great about keeping us up to date on the latest features and functionality as well as helping us set up innovative dashboards as need

• Combination of vendor and internal. The vendor bumped up our account to the Enterprise version (quite simple and easy) and then set up our organization and team structure. We then had to log in and set up team members and assign members to social media accounts. This was pretty easy to do as they have a great user interface. We simply had to drag and drop people into the correct team giving them access to specific social media accounts.

I think that Sprinklr is strongest in analytics and community management - however - the interface of the other platforms I have used is more friendly and other colleagues have a harder time with navigating the Sprinklr platform

Return on Investment

  • Hootsuite helped me realize how little I was actually posting to social media. By being able to schedule my posts all at once at the beginning of the week I was able to increase our presence online and improve the content I was sharing.
