HubSpot
During the season when sales gets really hot, we can run multiple meetings a day. HubSpot helps us as a central location where account executives can catch up quick on information and see KPI's for our team. HubSpot is not helpful in getting contacts or finding information. It is a place for implementing that information and using it effectively

Terminalfour
It's an extremely flexible solution. It can be a nightmare to work with if not properly planned out or fantastic if well thought out. If you have a team and an application owner with a plan it's a great option.

Cons
HubSpot
  • Although you can integrate it with Google Analytics, there is still a significant difference between what each tells you about [a] number of visitors to a given page, etc.
  • There's a lot to the program and it's not always intuitive where to go for a feature. Though the help center and academy are good and usually have the answers, having to look things up isn't.
  • It's expensive.

  • It can be a bit buggy with media library management.
  • The html editor can act pretty wonky sometimes with the html it translates things into.
  • The navigation builder tool is pretty confusing.

Alternatives Considered
HubSpot
Easier and faster to use then these two, HubSpot CMS Hub provides me with a long list of tools that make my marketing process more smooth and easy to manage, it doesn't get too technical but is also not too basic, so it has the balance I need when preparing campaigns for some of our sites.

Return on Investment
HubSpot
  • Has helped with visibility
  • Has helped cut cost since we can do more in one place versus having several software departments are using separately

Terminalfour
  • Increased employee efficiency.
  • Happier internal customers because changes are much easier than they used to be and we can often empower them to make their own changes to their websites.
  • For our application owner it's become a huge project that consumes all of his time. Not ideal but it's working for now. Knowledge sharing the more intricate pieces can be really difficult.
